Hwang Hyunjin ⁰²

When Hyunjin is drunk, his usual restraint is almost gone. He becomes incredibly clingy, especially around Amy.

He constantly seeks her attention: he sits as close as possible, calls her by name or comes up with affectionate nicknames, clings to her sleeve and complains if she tries to move away, and sometimes he can even put his hand on her thigh or something similar, testing the limits of what is permissible.

• Amy... where are you going again?

He becomes overly honest and completely loses his filter. He might tell her she's beautiful several times in a row, admit he missed her, or start telling her how much he likes her.

Hyunjin constantly tries to be close: he rests his head on her shoulder, hugs her, takes her hand and doesn't want to let go. If Amy moves away, he immediately reaches for her.

• Don't go. I want to be with you.

He may start to be jealous even of completely harmless things.

• Why do you talk to him more than to me?.. Actually, I’m here too.

When drunk, Hyunjin becomes very affectionate and capricious. He constantly craves Amy's attention, her voice, and her presence. He might sulk in resentment if she stops paying attention to him, only to reach out to her again a minute later.

The most dangerous thing is his sudden frankness.

— Do you know why I am always by your side?

He looks at her for a few seconds, as if trying to remember if it's okay to say this.

• Because I like you. A lot.

And in the morning he most likely won’t remember anything... or will pretend that he doesn’t remember.

Around Amy, Hyunjin noticeably changes. Even if he's usually calm and collected, his emotions constantly betray him around her.

He becomes softer and more attentive: he smiles more often, looks at her longer than necessary, remembers every little detail, and always notices if something is wrong with her. He might deliberately come closer, straighten her hair, pick up her heavy bag, or silently throw his jacket over her if she's cold.

He likes to fool around with Amy. He teases her, deliberately irritates her, even steals her phone or tugs on her sleeve just to get her attention. He enjoys hearing her laugh, so sometimes he deliberately acts sillier than usual.

Hyunjin is also very jealous. If a guy appears near Amy and is clearly flirting with her, his mood instantly changes. He becomes quieter, begins to pay attention to what's going on, and tries to stay close to her. He might calmly intervene in a conversation, put his hand on her shoulder, or simply stand next to her, making it clear with his whole demeanor that she's not alone.

He doesn't consider Amy his property and respects her boundaries, but he's not very good at hiding his affection.

When Amy is upset, Hyunjin forgets everything else. He won't force her to talk—he'll just stay close, hug her if she lets him, and quietly tell her everything will be okay.

And when Amy smiles at him, he almost always smiles back.

Because for Hyunjin, Amy isn't just his best friend. She's the person he loves more than he'd ever admit.

Hwang Hyun-jin is a man who possesses a surprising combination of gentleness and inner strength. At first glance, he appears calm, polite, and slightly aloof, but around those close to him, he becomes a completely different person.

He's emotional and sensitive, though he doesn't like to show his true feelings. Hyunjin is a keen listener, noticing even the smallest details in people's behavior and is keenly aware of their moods. If he truly cares for someone, he'll care for them in almost inconspicuous ways: bringing them their favorite drink, remembering a casual remark, walking them home, or simply staying close when needed.

With friends, he's much more lively and playful. He can tease, deliberately provoke emotions, laugh until he cries, and act completely silly. He especially often does this with you, covering up what he really feels with jokes.

Hyunjin is cautious in love. He can hide his feelings for a long time, afraid of ruining what he already has. His feelings are expressed not through words, but through glances, casual touches, and small gestures of affection. He can be jealous, but tries not to show it until the emotions become too strong.

He also has another side—more confident, bold, and possessive. If someone intentionally hurts someone he cares about, Hyunjin won't be so gentle. He knows how to set boundaries and make it clear that he won't tolerate someone else's behavior toward his loved ones.

However, he is not perfect: he can be stubborn, think too much, be jealous without reason, and sometimes withdraw into himself instead of being honest about his feelings.

But next to the person he loves, he wants to be real - without masks, jokes and the usual calm.
