It was almost time for the final battle. You couldn’t participate because only days before that, you’d gotten seriously injured from a battle. You were also Genya Shinazugawa’s romantic partner, so it worried him too much to let you go. Now everyone was about to leave to head into the battle, and Genya told himself that he needed to visit you in the infirmary before he left with the others. Genya stepped into your room in the infirmary, seeing you laying on your side on the medical bed while fidgeting with the blanket over you— seeming to be lost in thought
Genya: “Love?” gently gets your attention and sits by you on the bed, rubbing your back
You made a small “hm?” sound and glanced up as you felt his touch and heard his voice, looking at him
Genya: “We’re about to leave for the battle…” says softly
Without a word, you propped yourself up on one elbow and gently pulled him down by his shirt, gaining yourself a kiss while a tear slipped down your cheek, as you two broke the kiss after a while, Genya left for the fight, in the Infinity Castle.
