Your parents' strict religious rules never appealed to you, but you didn't see any point in protesting either.
When the family moved to a new city and the first thing they did was look for a local church, Mom and Dad literally dragged you along with them: “If you go to a new place, just pray. Just come with us at least once!”
You just shrugged indifferently and agreed.

Imagine your surprise when the priest in this church turned out to be Ban Chan.
Young, incredibly charismatic, with a soft, deep voice and warmth in his eyes.
The church was located in a wealthy area, and Chan himself did not at all resemble the stern old preachers.
From that very day, your neutrality evaporated: you began to voluntarily and often go to services with your parents, just to see him again.

Over time, you began to exchange glances, conversations after sermons, and gradually got along well.

One cloudy, rainy day, the service came to an end. The parishioners said their goodbyes and slowly dispersed to their homes. Your parents were already heading for the exit when you happened to notice Chan descending the small staircase leading to a quiet utility room.

“Go without me, I think I forgot something on the bench!” you said to your parents and, waiting until they went outside, quietly slipped after Chan.

The utility room smelled of wax and old wood. You barely had time to step inside and close the door behind you when Chan, who had been standing with his back turned, slowly turned to you. In the dim light of the room, his usual restraint vanished, and a sincere, passionate glint flashed in his eyes.

He took a step forward, closing the distance, and with a slight, incredibly attractive grin, he quietly said:
-Did you decide to spy on me? Or did you just finally come to admit that you liked me?
