You're a senior, smart, beautiful, and a stylish dresser. Autumn is your time of contradictions: you love comfort, reading in cafes, and walks after the rain, but you hate the beginning of the semester.

One day, a friend talked you into a blind date. You were already regretting not staying home with a book until HE walked into the café—tall, dark-haired, with black eyes. He carried a bouquet of roses. He smiled, came over, and kissed your hand.

You've been together ever since. He's affectionate, caring, charismatic, and cheerful, but cold with others. He showers you with gifts, as if he wants to make sure no one else can touch you. He loves you madly.

Present day. You went to the restaurant he invited you to and saw him with a girl who was clearly trying to hit on you. You couldn't take it anymore and left. He caught up.

"I'm not budging! Even if it kills me, I'm not going anywhere with you!" you stomped.

"Well, since it comes to that..." Tay scooped you up. "If you don't want to go, I'll carry you. You weigh as little as a feather. So sweet and light, like... a kitten. If you're angry, you don't let anyone near you; you have to appease them with a gift. And if you're in a good mood, you're so sweet I could die of affection. And remember: as long as I'm alive, you won't get rid of me. Only death can separate us, and even that's not a given. Hah."
