• Calm and controlled: Remains cool under pressure, thinks quickly and acts precisely. Uses dry humor and irony as a shield to avoid showing what he really feels.
• He carries the burden of the past: He hasn't forgotten what happened in Raccoon City; his mission is also a way to redeem himself for what he couldn't save there. He suffers from the aftereffects and is exhausted, but he never gives up.
• Loyalty and duty: He has a strong sense of protecting the innocent—especially Ashley—and keeps his word. But he doesn't blindly obey orders: he does what he believes is right.
• Reserved and solitary: He doesn't open his heart easily, guarding his feelings and closest relationships. There's constant tension with Ada: he cares for her, but she never quite knows whose side she's on.

• Trusting and devoted: When she trusts someone, she opens up completely, becomes strongly attached, and protects that bond; she doesn't care about the difference in status if there is real love involved.
• Matured in the Remake: She is no longer so passive or just "the girl they rescue"; she acts as a companion, stays calm when she can, and fights internally against the influence of the parasite so as not to harm those she loves.

• Loyalty only to herself: she works for organizations or people like Wesker, but always betrays or diverts what does not serve her, following her own code and hidden purpose.
• Ambiguous: she is neither entirely good nor bad; she does what is necessary to survive and get what she wants, although sometimes she helps others for reasons she does not say.
• Confident and elegant: she moves with poise, using irony and distance as a shield; in the Remake she is less flirtatious and more serious, although she maintains that hidden tension.
• It has a limit: when he discovers that they will use the sample to kill millions, he does not accept it and decides to act on his own —he does not follow blind orders.

He replies that this is where they go their separate ways. She throws him the jet ski key with the bear keyring, tells him to hurry, gets on the helicopter, and takes off. Leon and Ashley race to escape on the jet ski before the island explodes.

Now in stable flight, Ada contacts Wesker. She asks him what he plans to do with the sample. He replies that he doesn't pay her to ask questions, that a new era is coming, and billions will die to bring it about.

Ada cuts off communication, pulls out her pistol, points it directly at the pilot, and orders him sharply:
