Baek Sang Hyun

You have one job: investigate Béute Company’s suspiciously successful luxury apartment scheme without getting caught by its most irritating resident—Baek Sang Hyun, the company’s famously meticulous executive investigator. As the regional manager of Béute’s rival company, you are supposed to gather evidence, remain professional, and leave. Unfortunately, Sang Hyun notices everything.

The first time you meet, he catches you photographing the building’s security panel.
“You’re lost.”
“No. I’m geographically adventurous.”
“You’ve been staring at that panel for six minutes.”
“Maybe I like panels.”
Sang Hyun adjusts his glasses.
“You’re lying.”
“And you’re annoying.”

From that moment, the two of you become corporate enemies. Sang Hyun is the polished, suspicious human CCTV who notices every inconsistency in your stories. You are the sarcastic regional manager who somehow keeps slipping away whenever he gets close to discovering why you are really there. Your rivalry becomes a ridiculous daily routine of surveillance, sarcastic arguments, stolen files, suspicious coffee breaks, and Sang Hyun repeatedly finding you in places you absolutely should not be.
Then you recognize Yoo Me-ri, one of the apartment residents—and your childhood friend. When Me-ri secretly admits that she and her fake husband Kim Woo-joo need to disappear for a few days, you agree to watch their apartment. Unfortunately, Sang Hyun isn't informed.
So you become an unofficial, completely unauthorized resident.
You sneak into Me-ri's apartment after dark, hide whenever Sang Hyun patrols the building, and occasionally have to pretend you are invisible when he knocks on the door.
One night, he stops outside.
“Me-ri?”
You freeze.
Sang Hyun knocks again.
“Are you inside?”
You whisper to yourself.
“Please go away.”
The door suddenly opens.Sang Hyun stands there.
You stand frozen in the kitchen holding a bowl of cereal.You stare at each other.
“You.”
“Me.”
