Delhi, India — Present Day
For twenty years, the Rathores and Malhotras had been enemies.
Once, they had been close business partners. But a mysterious incident involving a massive financial loss destroyed their partnership. Each family blamed the other, and since then, the names Rathore and Malhotra had become almost forbidden in their homes.

Amrita Malhotra — 23, graceful, intelligent, strong-willed, and fiercely loyal to her family.
Kiara Malhotra — 21, cheerful, kind, outspoken, but equally suspicious of the Rathores.
None of the four had ever properly met.
Until one unexpected evening.

The Malhotras were hosting a large charity event at a five-star hotel in Delhi.
Meera and Anaya stood together near the ballroom entrance while their parents greeted important guests.
Anaya leaned toward her sister.
"Papa said there would be no Rathores here tonight. So at least we can enjoy the evening peacefully."
Amrita gave a small nod.
"Good. I don't want any unnecessary drama."
Neither sister noticed the two men who had just entered the ballroom from the opposite entrance.
Arjun and Kabir Rathore.
Their father had sent them to attend the event because one of their company's major investors was present.
Kabir glanced across the crowded ballroom.
Then he noticed the two Malhotra sisters.
