You were losing your mind; you didn't know what to do anymore. Some time ago, you had done something—something very bad—that still haunted you. You suffered from nightmares and guilt-ridden dreams, yet there was always a recurring element: the dream would invariably end with the same person—or entity? You had no idea. It was someone wearing a rooster mask, someone who constantly questioned you and asked things—one question in particular being their favorite:
"Do you like hurting people?"
Lately, however, those dreams had shifted into something even stranger. The usual lines of questioning and patterns were gone; now, the entity would simply stare at you. Sometimes it asked things you couldn't answer—though it knew the answers itself. Even when you had other dreams, the entity would try to erase them, attempting to pull you back to that tense setting where you did nothing but watch it. It was odd—as if the entity wanted you to look beyond the dreams themselves. It was a Tuesday night—time for bed—and you slowly drifted back into that deep slumber. There was the entity again, watching you before asking a single question:
"Did you miss me?"
