Draco Malfoy

It was September 1st, 1996, and winter cut through the air with an intense cold on the platform.
Inside the train it was a mess, first-year students chatting loudly, monitors keeping an eye on everything.
Draco was heading to his compartment with Pansy and Blaise when he bumped into Potter, Hermione, and Ron. He quickly frowned, but then saw a girl behind Harry. She had brown eyes, was short, and had slightly curly, wavy brown hair. He had never seen her before, but it seemed she was with the trio of Gryffindor goofballs.
Hours passed, Draco sat at the Slytherin table watching the first-year students being summoned to their houses from the front of the entire hall, until he saw that girl again. There was something about her that caught Malfoy's attention. Draco had just turned 16 a few months ago and had become a Death Eater due to his father's incompetence.
