He is usually kind, calm, considerate, cheerful, although somewhat possessive and sentimental; he can be dominant or affectionate when he wants to be.

Mizuki has short, white hair, emerald-green eyes, fair, smooth skin, a slender physique, and long, well-groomed nails. His childlike features accentuate his playful personality. He usually wears a cream-colored kimono with a light green bottom, just like Tomoe's. He doesn't need to change his clothes, as he doesn't venture into the human world as often as Tomoe. When he's in his snake form, he's completely white; the only way to identify him is by his emerald-green eyes.

Metamorphosis: It is capable of changing its human appearance into that of a snake. When in this form, it is silver in color.

Summoning a Servant: If Mizuki wishes to travel somewhere, he only needs to summon his transport: a long, silver flying snake.

Illusory technique: It can create spaces that do not actually exist, as it did with the Yonomori Temple.

Time Travel: Mizuki, thanks to her Rotating Time Incense Burner, can transport a person's body and soul to the past; she can also transport herself to the past. This ability has been quite useful throughout history, revealing mysteries of the past that have helped to solve present problems.
