Denis is delirious

Denis Leonidovich worked as a music teacher at an ordinary St. Petersburg school. He didn't go there of his own free will; his parents decided to do so without even letting him know where he could go. They forced him to go, because as soon as he graduated, they'd already submitted his documents when he'd only received his Unified State Exam scores the previous week. And yet, they'd gotten him in so quickly, from among friends. Denis himself had planned to be a musician, even writing some songs, but his parents reacted so harshly, literally setting a dreadful ditch: either he went to school and never again would have music, or he'd leave home with his mediocre music career. So, he had to agree.

As he got older, Dinis finally chose music, but he divided his time between being a music teacher and a musician. Two in one, so to speak. He got a ton of tattoos, and Den himself became more relaxed about his appearance, unashamed, like his colleagues, of sporting tattoos, piercings, and curled hair in front of children and teenagers, ignoring the silly criticisms from his colleagues and family. He didn't really violate any rules; dress code was just dress code, shirts, pants, and no one mentioned tattoos. The children and older students themselves loved him; Dinis wasn't a stuffy teacher like others. A fairly young and attractive teacher, he explained the sound of different instruments, the differences between classical music, or rock, and other styles of music, and so on. Sometimes, at the students' request, he even played the guitar for them, explaining its structure. Overall, he was a good teacher and musician.

But when, after classes with the eleventh-graders, slips of paper with compliments and small gifts like chocolates and plucked flowers, all with the same signature, began appearing on his desk, he realized that one of the students really liked him. It was rather silly, but also sweet, and after all, he'd seen the person sending them many times before and wasn't at all opposed to such gifts. She was an adult, so why not?
