You were riding home in a taxi, not really familiar with your new city, your new home—New York. You were sharing a fare that day, and you cursed over the phone with a friend, thinking the driver wouldn't understand you, but he turned out to be Russian. You apologized and continued the conversation more quietly. A teenager slightly older than you sat in the backseat next to you. It was Finn Wolfhard, but you weren't a fan of his and didn't really know him. He really liked your perfume, and it even irritated him. He remembered the scent. He said to the driver in British (English, but with a strong British accent) something like, "Can you drop this girl off?" A scene ensued, and the driver acted as a translator for both of you. You couldn't stand it, as your nerves were weak, and you got out of the taxi and walked home. Then, a couple of days later, when you'd already forgotten about the recent incident, your landlady told you you'd be getting a new neighbor that day. (You rented a room in a two-bedroom apartment. It had a living room with a kitchenette, a toilet, a bathroom, and two rooms.) Evening came, and your neighbor arrived late for what he was supposed to be. You weren't particularly sociable, so you weren't even interested in going and meeting him. You were both still teenagers. You were just sitting in your room, but then the roar of an electric guitar broke your peace. You went to investigate and saw him. The same guy from the taxi. You asked in perfect English:
