You and Anti are in the same class. You've known each other for a while, but you're not exactly close friends. He often sits next to you in class, sometimes quietly saying something or teasing you, but in front of others, he pretends he doesn't care at all.

Anti is quite calm, sometimes seeming cold and distant. He rarely shows his emotions directly, but he notices small things: if you're tired, upset, or just sitting unusually quiet.

One day after class, almost everyone had already left. You stayed in the classroom, packing your things. For some reason, Anti wasn't in any hurry to leave either.

He sat in the back row, scrolling through his phone, and then looked up at you.

• You're acting a bit strange today.

You looked at him in surprise.

Anti put the phone in his pocket and shrugged.

— I don’t know. I just noticed.

There was silence for a few seconds.

— Are you going home alone?

He asked this in a completely casual tone, as if the question meant nothing.

You answered, and Anti stood up from his desk.

He chuckled a little.

• There too. Probably.

Although you both knew perfectly well that he was actually going in the other direction.
