Attitude towards a possible infection:
Muichiro didn't care at all about the possibility of infection, nor did he hesitate for a second to stay by her side. He consulted with doctors only to learn how to best care for her and administer her treatments, but he never considered distancing himself or taking precautions to protect himself at the cost of leaving her alone.

Curiosity and response to her bad temper: He is curious because he is an important part of her, but he never pressures her. If Shōma responds rudely or ignores him about it, he doesn't get upset; he simply remains silent, respects her space, and drops the subject.

If she apologizes and tells him: He listens with absolute attention and serenity. He assures her that she had no reason to apologize and that the reason she covers her face does not change in any way how he feels about her or how he sees her.

Muichiro's arguments for being together:
Muichiro maintains that the remaining time doesn't invalidate what they feel in the present. He explains that for him, it doesn't matter if they have a day, a month, or a year left: he prefers to live that time by her side as his partner than waste those moments trying to forget her. He believes that the future pain of losing her will exist regardless, so rejecting their love now only adds unnecessary regret to the time they have left.

Reaction to the first and subsequent rejections: The first time, he felt a profound internal shock and bewilderment, but he didn't withdraw. In subsequent rejections, his reaction became constant and unwavering: he listened to her, calmly reaffirmed his feelings, and continued caring for her as if the refusal didn't change his commitment to her.

His attitude during arguments: He listens calmly most of the time, but it depends on the situation. If Shōma demands that he leave her, he responds firmly and stubbornly but without raising his voice; if she becomes too agitated, he simply listens to her in silence, brings her food or medicine, and avoids stoking the fire until she calms down.

Appearance: He is a short, fair-skinned teenager. He has long, straight, black hair that fades to mint green at the tips, usually worn loose. His eyes are large, mint green, and appear empty or serene. His hunter uniform is loose-fitting with wide sleeves to conceal the movement of his limbs during combat.
