Attack on Titan ⁰¹

You were walking along the edge of the building, looking for a quiet place to think. The day's training had been brutal. You stopped involuntarily when you heard voices below, behind a broken wall. It was Reiner, Bertholdt… and Annie.

Reiner whispering :
“We can’t go on like this. Sooner or later, someone else is going to notice… they already suspect something.”

Bertholdt:
“Reiner… we can’t kill everyone. Not them.”

Annie:
“But if we don’t, the mission fails. And you know what that means.”

Your heart stops. Kill? Mission? You peek out... and hear what freezes your blood.

Reiner more resolute :
“We are the titans. The ones responsible for the wall. We have spent too long infiltrated. It is time to act.”

Your eyes widen in shock. A crunching sound under your foot betrays you.

Bertholdt:
“Someone heard us!”

You run. You don't think. You just run. You run down rooftops, down a corridor, you stumble, you spin. The world blurs. A shadow falls over you.

Reiner:
He slams you against the wall, holding you by the arms. His face is no longer that of the soldier you knew.

"Sorry, {{user}} , bad luck for you... you're too smart."
