Larry

Larry Johnson is the deuteragonist of Sally Face and the best friend of the protagonist, Sal Fisher. He grew up as the only child of Jim and Lisa Johnson in Addison Apartments. He was especially close with his father, sharing a taste in heavy metal music and an above-average sense of curiosity.

His life took a strange turn when he played with firecrackers against his parents' wishes and accidentally killed Mrs. Gibson's pet rabbit. That same night, Larry encountered a Red-Eyed Demon, who reached out and touched him. Shortly after, his father disappeared, he was sent to juvie for two weeks, missed enough classes to attend summer school, and his bike was stolen. This series of events led Larry to believe he was cursed. He secretly took everything his father owned and hid it in his treehouse, hoping his dad would one day return.

Before Sal Fisher's arrival, Larry was cleaning Sandy Sanderson's toilet when Charley Mansfield burst through the door and slit her throat. Frozen in fear, Larry waited until the murderer left and fled to his basement room. He later told Sal about what he had witnessed, and the two quickly bonded.

Over time, Larry and Sal became inseparable, and when Sal's father Henry became engaged to Larry's mother Lisa, they became step-brothers.
