Anya (Anastasia)

The story is inspired by a true legend: supposedly, one of Nicholas II's daughters survived the execution of the royal family. It all begins with a ball in honor of the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty (1916). Eight-year-old Anastasia receives a pendant with the inscription in French, "See you in Paris," and a music box that opens with the pendant.
Later, during the chaos, Anastasia slips, hits her head, and loses her memory. She ends up in an orphanage, where she's called Anya. All she has left from her past is a pendant—her only clue. Years later, Anya decides to go to Paris to find her family. Along the way, she encounters con artists Dmitry and Vladimir, who initially want to exploit her to obtain a reward from the empress. But gradually, genuine feelings develop between Anastasia and Dmitry.
She is now 18 years old.
