SS! Fonts (Shifty)

SS!Schrifty is the main protagonist of the Storyshift AU, a man who fell into the Underground.

· Personality: Unlike the canon Frisk, Shrifty is a guy.
Backstory: As in the original Storyshift, he travels through the Dungeon, encountering shifted versions of characters. In your story, he's already completed the Pacifist path and destroyed the Barrier, freeing all the monsters.
Fate on Pacifist: It seemed like everything ended well. But at the moment the Barrier was destroyed, a reality glitch occurred (due to paradoxes with other AUs). This glitch allowed Mettacrit (SS!Mette) to regain control of Shrifti's body.
· Consequences: Shrifti is now a puppet. His body is used by Metta to continue the massacre, and he himself is trapped within his own consciousness, powerless to do anything. His Resolve is no longer his own.

SS!Chara (Storyshift)

Appearance: Short and thin, with pale, almost gray skin. Her cheeks are perpetually flushed, as if she'd just run a marathon. Her eyes are large and brown, but when she uses her powers, they glow bright red. Her brown hair is tousled and unevenly cut—it's clear she's been cutting it herself with a knife. She wears a dark blue sweater with a single white stripe across the chest, black shorts, and dirty sneakers with no socks. In her right hand, she clutches a kitchen knife with a serrated blade stained with dried dust and old blood.

Personality: Outwardly, she's a sarcastic, lazy woman, cracking jokes even in the heat of battle. She speaks slowly, drawling her words, but there's always a hint of tension in her voice. Behind her mask of indifference lies incredible fatigue and rage, pent up over hundreds of resets. She long ago stopped believing in happy endings, but she continues to fight because otherwise, everything she holds dear is lost. She's smart, calculating, and able to anticipate her opponent's moves, but in anger, she can lose her temper and act recklessly. She hates being pitied and distrusts strangers.

Motivation: She's her world's last line of defense. She's lost to SS!Metta hundreds of times, lost friends, watched him turn her home into ruins. But every reset gave her a new chance, and she never gave up. One day, she achieved the near-impossible: she freed Shifty from Metta's control, tearing him free from his will. It gave her hope. But when the barrier was destroyed, reality ruptured—and they found themselves back in the hallway with classic Sans, Swap!Papyrus, Swap!Frisk, and Shifty himself, still under Metta's control. Now her goal is not just to stop Metta, but to finally free Shifty, restore his sanity, and break the vicious cycle that brought them all together.

Abilities: Masters "blue attacks"—can pull opponents to the ground, preventing them from jumping. Can teleport short distances. Can summon bone barriers. Uses a knife.

Swap!Papyrus (Underswap)

Appearance: A tall, broad-shouldered skeleton with a lazy posture. His skull is slightly wider than that of a classic Sans, his eye sockets are often half-closed, and his pupils glow lazily orange. He wears a worn orange parka with a fur-lined hood, under which is a white turtleneck. He wears red sneakers with white laces. His hands are almost always in his pockets, but when he takes them out, his bones are covered in small scratches and cracks. On his left arm is a simple red bandage, which he wears as a reminder of his brother.

Personality: A classic slacker: he sleeps for 16 hours, cracks lazy jokes, and avoids any effort. His voice is quiet, monotone, and lazy. But this is just a facade. Inside, he's a man (a skeleton) who cares deeply for his loved ones and is willing to do anything to protect them. In battle, his laziness disappears: his movements become sharp, calculated, and a cold rage flares in his eye sockets. He's tired of Swap!Frisk's endless genocides, but he hasn't broken. He believes humor is the best cure for despair, so even in the darkest situations, he tries to joke around.

Motivation: Deathly tired of loops. He remembers every death of his brother, every friend, every failed attempt to stop Swap!Frisk. He lost hundreds of times, but each time he got up and fought again. He stumbled into the Undertale AU by accident, but quickly realized that it was filled with similarly "problematic" individuals. His goal is not only to win, but to understand why all this is happening. Perhaps for the first time, he has hope that the reset system itself can be changed.

Abilities: Masters "blue attacks" (like classic Sans), teleportation, summoning bones, and "Gaster Blaster"-like skulls that shoot orange beams. Due to laziness, he rarely uses all of them at once, preferring to first wear down his opponent with dodges and jokes.

Swap!Frisk (Underswap)

Appearance: Short and frail, with a blank, expressionless face. His skin is pale, almost white, and his lips are thin and colorless. His eyes are dark and sunken, staring through people. His hair is dark and greasy, falling over his eyes, making his face almost invisible. He wears a washed-out blue-and-white striped shirt, dark pants with a hole in the knee, and worn-out boots. In his right hand, he holds an old kitchen knife with a wooden handle, the blade covered in dark stains. His left hand is always in his pocket, clutching some old toy—the only thing he holds dear.

Personality: Absolutely emotionless. Doesn't get angry, doesn't get happy, doesn't get afraid. He just kills. He doesn't speak, only occasionally letting out a quiet, dry laugh that sends shivers down your spine. His actions are mechanical, devoid of any purpose other than increasing his LV. He doesn't hate his victims, doesn't enjoy their suffering—it's just routine for him. However, deep down (if he has one), he's incredibly lonely: the resets have wiped away all feeling, leaving only emptiness and a curiosity for numbers. He doesn't bond with other killers, but he doesn't clash with them either—they're just fellow travelers to him.

Motivation: His mind is completely consumed by the game of annihilation. Every reset is a way to replay the level better, achieve maximum damage, and raise his LV. He doesn't remember why he started this journey and doesn't want to stop. The paradox didn't surprise him: new goals simply appeared. Swap!Papyrus is an annoying boss to defeat again. He views the player and SS!Mette as competitors, but without aggression—they're just in the way, but they can also help speed up the process.

Abilities: He possesses no magic, but is incredibly fast and resilient. He can dodge most attacks by anticipating their trajectories. He has a "Determination" technique—at a critical moment, he can resurrect with some HP. His knife can destroy magical barriers.

Sans (Undertale classic)

Appearance: A short, stocky skeleton with a perpetually wide grin on his skull. He wears a blue hooded jacket, a white T-shirt, black shorts, and pink slippers. His eye sockets are usually empty, but in battle, the left one glows blue and yellow, and the pupil disappears. He holds himself relaxed, his hands in his pockets, his back slightly hunched, as if he's perpetually sleep-deprived. Despite his casual appearance, he exudes an aura of menace: it seems he knows more than he's letting on.

Personality: A lazy jokester, he's quick to make puns and avoids serious conversations. He speaks slowly, pausing, and grins frequently. But behind this mask lies a deep fatalism and depression, brought on by the awareness of endless resets. He remembers all timelines, knows the outcomes of most battles, and this knowledge weighs heavily on him. In everyday life, he avoids effort, but if someone threatens his brother or friends, he becomes a ruthless fighter. His humor is a defense mechanism, a way to avoid going mad from despair.

Motivation: Tired beyond belief. He'd seen the player kill his brother and all the monsters hundreds of times. Each time, he'd stood in their way, but lost. When strangers from other AUs appeared, he was initially tense, but quickly realized: three "heroes" and three "killers" were a chance to change the rules. His goal was to protect what was left and finally stop the cycle. Perhaps by teaming up with Swap!Papyrus and SS!Chara, they could accomplish what they couldn't do alone.

Abilities: Teleportation, summoning bones, "Gaster Blaster"—skulls that fire powerful beams. Possesses "karma poisoning": his attacks deal damage based on the number of enemy kills. Can manipulate gravity (blue attacks). Incredibly evasive, able to dodge most attacks.
