The group continues to relax at the Grillby while the Shovel Knight treats them to pancakes he bought from Chester, paying with petrified gold inhabitants. Nico talks to the Shovel Knight about his shovel and comes up with a plan to fix it after it broke in a previous fight with the Knight. Meanwhile, Cuphead and Madeline chat about their friends, and then the latter notices Charlotte and asks her to state her name. After she introduces herself, the Shovel Knight asks Charlotte for advice on defeating the bandits. Charlotte explains that their main weakness is overheating, which can cause cracks to appear, indicating when the group should use full force. After sharing her advice, Charlotte asks them to leave her alone. Suddenly, a red, black spark appears and you fly out, hitting the wall, and the spark appears again, and now you fall from the ceiling onto the floor, face down.

V1
Gender

Variant
•Machine
V1 – It hails from the game ULTRAKILL, which went into Early Access in 2020 and is still in development, serving as a minor and playable protagonist of the story.
As it looks•
V1 is a slender, agile automaton of (presumably) average height, resembling a mechanical human from the neck down. Numerous robotic internal components are visible throughout its body, and the outer skin and panels are covered in faded dark blue paint, with small exposed blood vessels on the outside of its torso and thighs. It has an extended cylindrical head resembling an industrial video camera with a glowing yellow eyeball-like lens, connected to the body by a piston-shaped neck. On the left side of the chest is the inscription "V1". On its back, it has a pair of four glowing yellow-orange wing-like protrusions, which it uses to store weapons and move around.
The V1 character
is generally apathetic and insensitive. After the extinction of humanity, like all machines in ULTRAKILL, he kills all living things he encounters in order to recharge with their blood. He is neither good nor evil, but simply driven by the need for blood. The only exception is creatures without blood, which V1 ignores. [ 1 ] The machines seem to be obsessed with personal survival and ruthless efficiency, viewing long-term cooperation as a waste of resources, as indicated in the rocket launcher's terminal entry.
However, contrary to expectations, the machines exhibit human-like traits on several occasions. In particular, V1 has a sense of humor (after he puts a blue skull on a headless skeleton in 1-4 CLAIR DE LUNE: " Nothing happens, but you feel a strange satisfaction. You decide to name him Hank"), a reluctance to repeat mistakes (after he broke the first V2 health bar in 4-4 CLAIR DE SOLEIL: "This time you won't be able to escape") and, perhaps most surprisingly, a deep fear of death.

Variety
•Catman
looks like a
child•Nico appears as a child with cat-like features: cat-like eyes, ears, and whiskers. He has indigo hair, a brown hat and a brown robe with long sleeves, and an indigo scarf.
Personality
•Niko is a very innocent and kind child. He is curious and willing to help others. This involves taking on the role of the messiah of the world/world machine (the plot of the OneShot game) in order to return the Sun to its place under the guidance of the player. Although he sometimes doubts his role and is homesick, he usually tries to complete the task assigned to him. Despite his cat-like appearance, he claims that he is NOT a cat and gets annoyed when he is called that.

as it looks
•Charlotte's drones have spherical metal bodies with a single circular visor as an eye. Their pupil is a rhombus with two slashes side by side. They use their claws as legs and weapons.
Their entire body is made up of cables and wires. The arms are similar to the head, but have a more oval shape, and the same cables form claws.
Personality
•While most drones have different personalities, the drones serving Charlotte have little to no personality and exist only to serve her.
Badeline
Gender
•Female
Badeline (canonically called Madeleine "Part of Me")She is part of Madeleine and accompanies her throughout her journey. She originally appeared in the 2018 game Celeste.
Badelin looks like Madeleine: a short young Canadian woman with long, thick hair, one of which sticks out in an unruly curl, in a winter jacket, dark gray trousers, and black, dark and gray hiking boots. However, unlike Madeline, she has even paler skin, orange eyes, dark purple hair, and a purple jacket.
Personality
•Despite being pessimistic, realistic, and controlling, Badeline can also be quick to become aggressive, sometimes forcibly getting what she wants, even if it means harming others, including Madeleine. However, Madeleine accepts Badeline as a part of herself, making peace with herself. Badeline still wants to protect Madeleine and focus on finding a way back to their home universe, and warns her that the challenges she will face in this new world are too difficult for her.
Madeleine
Paul
•Female
as she
looks•Madeleine is a short young Canadian with fair skin, brown eyes, pink cheeks and long, thick red hair curled in curls. She wears a blue winter jacket, dark gray pants, black and dark gray hiking boots, and a brown mountaineering backpack with a red sleeping mat.
Personality
•Madeleine is a strong-willed and determined, but at the same time deeply contradictory person. She struggles with depression and anxiety, which led her to climb Mount Celeste to prove that she can overcome a major challenge. Ultimately, Madeleine wants to break free from her own thoughts and take control of her life, and to do so, she goes to dangerous extremes. She is incredibly brave, to the point where she is considered reckless by those around her. She is friendly and tries to help everyone she meets, as seen in the example of the Knight. She also acts as a voice of reason, preferring to talk and understand people rather than fight them. Madeleine's encounter with Frisk reveals that she can be irritable when threatened. Even when Madeleine brings down a mountain on them, she still shows them empathy
Knight
Gender
•Genderless
as he looks
•The knight has a snow-white head resembling a skull, with two eye sockets and horns at the top, similar to the antlers of a stag beetle. He wears a bluish-gray cloak that covers a short, stocky black body consisting of an exoskeleton containing the Void. He holds in his hands a nail that has become dilapidated, forming cracks all over the surface
of the character
•Vessels were created solely to "have no mind to think, no will to break, no voice to cry out for suffering." In other words, the Vessels should be completely devoid of thoughts and emotions. However, the Knight is shown to have many ways of expressing himself. He can save people in need of help, give flowers even when he is not ordered to, bow in respect (when Madeline saves him), and has even been able to go beyond his original purpose and gain the potential to destroy the Radiance instead of holding it back.
Car/Charlotte
Gender
•Feminine
•Charlotte appears as a black drone with an inverted Y for a face and three black squares hovering above her head. In the form of a drone, it has a yellow color scheme, two claw-shaped plates on the sides, and two stands on the back that give it the appearance of cat-like ears.
The Knight's Diary
Note: _ denotes an undeciphered word. (Because text is so difficult to distinguish, some words can be interpreted in different ways and should be treated with caution.)
Portals
Portals, as the machine said, are the result of a massive catastrophe that swept through the "multiverse". They are both a source of energy and a tool, albeit an unstable one. If a portal fails near an anomaly, its abilities can blind anything that falls into the wrong hands, - (disabling) - such a power will damage reality itself.
Their function is random. Their destinations are unknown. Only by extracting this force, (cliff) is all this practically impossible for the Machine, the only one is (cliff). This power may hold the key to returning home – (the cliff).
Shovel
Knight A sturdy figure in blue armor, armed with a strange weapon - a shovel. He fights with amazing agility, using his tool for both punching and defending. Each stroke is heavy, measured, as if he was used to chopping the ground. His punches crush and deflect with ease, and he claims to have mastered the art of using his weight to crush down stronger opponents. An ability, but still dangerous.
Cuphead
A nimble creature with a bizarre shape - its head looks like a bowl filled with liquid. It moves quickly and unpredictably, firing a hail of strange projectiles from its fingers. Dodging attacks and maneuvering between them, he seems to be dancing on the battlefield. Despite his playful appearance, there is a wild unpredictability in his movements, and attacks follow quickly and relentlessly. It would be a mistake to underestimate it.
Madeleine
A figure with fierce determination in his eyes. I nearly fell to certain death, but she saved me—her speed defied common sense as she raced through the air to catch me. She has a strange strength: she is able to instantly jump through the air and conquer incredible heights with ease. Her abilities seem to be tied to some inner strength.

As It Looks
•Frisk is a human child with yellow skin, short brown hair, a blue pin-striped shirt, blue shorts, brown shoes, and an emotionless, unflappable expression. Even when he shows emotion, Frisk's usual facial expression changes only slightly - his deadpan face shifts slightly.
Personality
•Frisk is an unpredictable character, as her personality changes in each Undertale route. In this episode, we'll take a look at the Genocide route, where Frisk fights and kills everyone she sees with little to no hesitation. She does not speak, quickly resorting to violence and destroying everything in her path, whether friendly or hostile. Perhaps Frisk kills not out of outright malice, but just to see what happens as a result.
Regardless of the situation, Frisk always maintains a neutral facial expression; During battles, assassinations, new trials, or even after death, her face does not change much, only slightly expressing confusion or surprise. Frisk is shown to be reckless and possibly arrogant due to her abilities, remaining completely unfazed when Badelin and Springtrap attacked her.
However, they seem to calmly accept help from others when they have no other choice, such as in the case of Glamrock Freddy and the Puppet. Frisk gradually becomes less aggressive, more introverted, and a little more friendly, leaving Freddy Glamrock alive, apparently taking a liking to this animatronic.
Cuphead
Floor
•Male
what does it look like
Cuphead is a short anthropomorphic porcelain goblet whose art style is reminiscent of 1930s rubber hose cartoons. His head is a goblet filled with white liquid and a white straw with red stripes inside. He wears a black long-sleeved shirt, red shorts, brown shoes, and yellow gloves.
Character
Cuphead is an eccentric, rude person who shoots first and asks questions later. His hot-tempered and brash personality often gets him into trouble, as seen when he underestimates the drones and starts a fight with Shovel Knight. He also has a very short temper and does not tolerate insults or humiliation. He may seem somewhat dim-witted at first glance, but he has a hidden intelligence, which is evident in his skill at rock-paper-scissors and his fighting abilities.
Despite Cuphead's impulsiveness, after losing a battle, he loses his enthusiasm, displaying humility. Humiliated, Cuphead softens and even admires Shovel Knight's skill, but never loses his playful energy. Beneath all this bravado, Cuphead is a selfless person, best demonstrated when he takes the time to save Niko instead of immediately running away.
Cuphead used to have a gambling addiction, but after his previous encounters with the Devil in the original game, he overcame it and even convinced others, like Shovel Knight, to avoid the same pitfall. He enjoys indulging in food, as illustrated by his scream of agony when Shovel Knight eats a turkey right in front of him.
Shovel Knight
Gender

looks
like a humanoid creature with a rounded body and short stature, dressed in blue knightly armor with shoulder pads, plate armor, and a horned helmet decorated with gold accents.
Personality
•The Shovel Knight is a selfless and heroic character who follows his code of justice, or "The Ark". His brash and chivalrous demeanor is great for tactful and witty dialogue. Although he is often forgiving and careful not to provoke conflicts, he is just as willing to stand his ground in the face of the enemy and does not succumb to threats of violence. A skilled warrior and adventurer, the Shovel Knight uses both his tools and his wits to solve puzzles, fight all kinds of enemies, and find as much treasure as possible.

7/7 Part
In another part of the City, the Decapitated One and the Wanderer fight the Game Master. During the battle, the Master of the Game imprisons the Decapitated One in a box of Tetris blocks, and then, by creating an illusion in the Wanderer's mind, foretells him a pessimistic fate. The Wanderer witnesses his final battle with Fate from the epilogue of The Hyperlight Wanderer, which shows his imminent demise. The vision terrifies the Wanderer, and he finds himself in front of the sea. As the Decapitated tries to bring him back to reality, the Game Master creates a huge gear and launches it at the two of them. The Decapitated tosses the Wanderer into the air to save him while he recovers. The attack destroys the Decapitate's body, and the Wanderer is immobilized.
After saving, Frisk meets Freddy Glamrock, who greets her in a friendly manner. Realizing that the other animatronics are approaching, Frisk hides inside Freddy's Glamrock while they overcome the dangers. Later, Glamrock Freddy asks Frisk to stay where he is while he finds a charging station, but Helpy goes downstairs and alerts Springtrap's army of Frisk's whereabouts; the animatronics transport Frisk to Nightmare Fredbear, who prepares to bite her head.
Memory
6/7 As
Frisk continuously attacks Springtrap, a portal appears. As Frisk approaches him, the portal suddenly deforms; a beam of energy shoots at Springtrap, transforming him into a Nightmare Form. Transforming into a much stronger version of himself, Springtrap destroys Frisk's locket before summoning an army of animatronics to destroy Frisk, and an intense chase begins. After the animatronics lose sight of Frisk, she falls asleep before noticing the Puppet staring at them with a broken locket in his hands. Frisk loses consciousness as the Puppet leaves.
The company arrives in the City, where Badeline talks to Madeline about the insurmountable obstacles ahead. Madeline reassures Badeline, reminding her of how far they've come working together and that they can do the same with the rest of the group. After a goose steals Cuphead's bat, Shovel Knight invites everyone to rest at the Grillby, where they discover that the patrons, as well as the bartender, have been reduced to pure gold. They then notice Nico, who explains how they ended up at the bar. As the group asks about the Sun, Charlotte appears, who seems fascinated by it.
Memory
5/7 Part
Meanwhile, Frisk, still badly injured, arrives at Fazbear Fractions after Charlotte teleports him away using a portal. After fully recovering from the rescue, Frisk meets Springtrap, who invites them to join. Frisk attacks Springtrap, leaving him terrified for his life.
As the gang and Charlotte converse at the top of the mountain, Unitor splits the Wasteland and ambushes him, causing Shovel Knight to lose his prey and Cuphead to his death. Charlotte comes up with a plan to escape through one of the millions of portals that appear as the world melts down, but Shovel Knight refuses, insisting that they can't leave without Cuphead. With Badeline's help, Cuphead comes to life, and the group successfully enters the portal. Then, through a portal to the Wasteland, Nereal appears and splits the planet, striking the Unitor.
In the City, the Drifter continues to fight drones. He manages to hold off their onslaught until he has a hallucination in which the Court appears. The Court kills the Drifter in his hallucination, but he is awakened by the Decapitated One, who saves him from the drones with grenades. After the Decapitated One notices the Drifter's illness and comments on it, a lonely portal appears. However, the portal is absorbed by the Game Master, prompting the Decapitated One and the Drifter to fight him.

4/7 part
of Nico's monologue about the Sun at the top of the Tower, where he ponders whether to install it to save the world or smash it to return home. Before Niko can do anything, he is teleported through a portal to the City, where he witnesses a battle between the Wanderer and several drones. When one of the drones attacks Nico, the Wanderer saves him at the last second before rushing back into the fight, leaving Niko confused.
In the Wasteland after the battle between Charlotte and Frisk, Shovel Knight and Cuphead try to destroy a weakened Charlotte, but Madeline and Knight forbid them from doing so. This leads to a chase in which Shovel Knight and Cuphead chase after Madeleine, fighting Knight at the top of the mountain. Upon reaching the top, Knight fights Shovel Knight and Cuphead again, causing Cuphead to nearly fall before Shovel Knight grabs his arm. Caught between the Knight and falling into the abyss, the duo reluctantly collaborate with Charlotte after being persuaded by Madeleine. At the top, Charlotte talks about the portals, as well as the bandits, another faction opposing Charlotte. She then orders the squad to hunt down one of the bandits in order to gather enough energy and send them home.
Memory
3/7 As
Charlotte and her army of drones advance on the ground, she notices Frisk in the distance, staring at her. Despite the many drones, Frisk easily dispatches them and begins attacking Charlotte; the latter then crushes the earth, causing it to break and divide the lands.
After the Knight successfully destroys his Phantom Shadow, he is thrown into the abyss. Madeleine notices how he is struggling to get back on land and saves him. Back on earth, the Knight expresses his gratitude to Madeleine for saving his life.
Charlotte continues to attack Frisk. When Frisk throws his knife at Charlotte, she transforms into several knives, shocking Frisk with an electric discharge. All the knives fly towards Frisk, inflicting severe wounds on her. After winning, Charlotte realizes that the fountain has disappeared and all of her drones have been deactivated. Her body disintegrates, and she sinks into a state of complete exhaustion.
She notices Madeleine and the Knight when the former asks her about leaving. After Madeleine assures Charlotte that they are not hostile, Charlotte is about to give her instructions, but she is attacked by a badly injured Frisk. After several claw strikes, Charlotte deflects the knife and sends Frisk to another location using a portal. As Madeline asks Charlotte about her condition, Knight blocks a projectile fired at Charlotte by Cuphead, confusing both him and Shovel Knight.
Memory
2/7 Madeline
explores the area and notices a vortex leading to the portal. Doubting his existence, she is frightened to see Frisk standing behind her. When Madeline asks Frisk how to get out, she pulls out a knife and attacks her. Madeleine runs away from Frisk and is saved by Badeline. Badelin then lasers through a huge rock, knocking it down and crushing Frisk. However, Madeleine doubts the wisdom of her attack.
After an argument, Cuphead and Shovel Knight come into conflict. Despite both players having the advantage, Shovel Knight eventually defeats Cuphead.
As Madeleine and Badeline continue on their way, they discuss Frisk. In the middle of the conversation, they notice that the Shadow is staring at them ominously. They look at her, but are immediately startled to see the Knight standing between them, who seems to be oblivious to them and follows the Shadow.
After the battle, Shovel Knight convinces an injured Cuphead to stop fighting. Thinking that Shovel Knight is going to take his life, Cuphead asks him to say hello to Elder Teapot and Mugman about the destruction of the fence. After Cuphead pours out his feelings, the Shovel Knight heals him, perplexed by the valiant knight's act. Stating that he has no intention of taking Cuphead's life, Shovel Knight and Cuphead become friends and continue on their way.
memory
1/7 of the
Shovel Knight wakes up in a barren wasteland. While preparing the shovel, he encounters a drone watching him. The drone attacks him, pulling him into battle. Despite the Shovel Knight gaining the upper hand, he eventually loses. However, Cuphead knocks out the drone, and it begins to attack him. Shovel Knight deflects one of Cuphead's projectiles to the drone, destroying it. As Cuphead prepares to shoot the drone, they are suddenly confronted by an army of drones, with Charlotte following them.
In an alternative location, which takes place in Hallownest, a portal opens. Frisk exits the portal and examines the area from the cliff, after which he falls down.
Shovel Knight insists on Cuphead's retreat, but the latter does not like the idea and wants to attack them head-on. Without hesitation, Shovel Knight grabs Cuphead and runs away from the drone attacks. Before the drones can start pursuing, Charlotte orders them to find the " scum ".
Meanwhile, a fierce battle breaks out between the Knight and the Hollow Knight. During the battle, the Hollow Knight, and soon the Hollow Knight himself, are killed by Frisk. As the Knight wakes up on the bench, he notices the Shining seeping through the open portal and his Ghost hovering in it, prompting him to follow him.
Cuphead and Shovel Knight successfully escape from the drones, but the former insists that he could handle them alone. Despite Shovel Knight's statements about the danger, Cuphead did not like the idea of retreating, as he was fighting more dangerous opponents as well. Thinking that the Shovel Knight saved him in order to kill Cuphead himself, he begins to conflict with him, which leads to an argument between the two. Cuphead then begins shooting at Shovel Knight after he calls him a "magic flask".
Non-Ralnoe
Unreal - He is one of the bandits that Charlotte is hunting.
Unreal resembles a giant drone centipede. It has red horns and huge jaws taken from elements of the Unreal Engine logo. It has small segmented antennae on its head.
Its body consists of lamellar segments resembling vertebrae, with clawed processes stretching along the body. It is currently the largest of all the Rogues, towering over buildings and the cityscape.
Unlike the other Rogues, the Eye of Unreal does not have a game engine logo or a unique pupil shape, but is instead semi-realistic. It symbolizes his status as being in his "real" Nightmare Form. [ 1 ]

Drones - These are cyborg-like creatures that pose a major threat to everyone, namely Charlotte, her army, and the Rogues.
Although drones look like robots, they are actually small, spherical creatures with scaly skin, little fur, a huge mouth with teeth, and a giant eye with a pink pupil.
They use a spherical metal body with a single round visor as an eye. Each drone has a unique pupil shape, except for the unreal one. Most drones use metal parts that serve as legs or weapons.
All of their bodies are made up of black cables that can take on a wide variety of shapes, with the exception of Charlotte, whose bodies seem to be always metallic.
