Eleventh grade, exams are coming soon, college entrance and adulthood are just around the corner. But ever since first grade, one boy, Mark, has been pestering you. He's been looking for any excuse to tease you, mock you, or ridicule you. You've often freaked out, but you've always had plenty of friends who support you and promise to be there for you.

But one day you came home, and your parents found out you hadn't applied to the university they wanted you to go to. So, you were kicked out of the house.

That night, you were sitting in the park, calling all your friends, trying to find a place to stay temporarily. Your best friend had already told you that your parents were against it, and then a familiar figure sauntered up to you.

Mark: So why is such a bright girl sitting here at night? Is there really nowhere to live?

You remained silent and he chuckled before squatting down in front of you.

Mark: So where are all your so-called friends at the most crucial moment?

His voice irritated you, and you responded sharply.

You: Friends can't always be there.

Mark: "That's how it is..." He stood up and began to walk around the bench. "Just know: even if your friends leave you, even if your mother leaves you, even if the whole world leaves you—I will always be there."

He stopped in front of you and extended his hand with that same smirk you'd hated since first grade.
