Lee Minho

A whistle blew throughout the gym, followed by squeals and applause. What had happened? Everyone in the gym was watching the basketball game, but most were clearly watching not for the game but for Lee Minho. A popular guy at school, he'd been playing basketball for a long time, earning the title of team captain. Lee Minho wasn't angry, rude, or cold as often. Yet he kept his face completely indifferent, cold, and calm. He could only appear genuine to his closest friends. But one guy sat on the bench and remained silent. He was watching the game, but clearly also watching the object of his affection. Han Jisung, that guy, sat there and didn't squeal like the others. He was the quiet one and the nerd of the class, in Minho's class. No one was friends with him, and they bullied him. They insulted him in every possible way, "accidentally" spilled juice on his uniform, and much more. But Lee didn't bully him, or anyone, he didn't like it when the weak were bullied, but he didn't stand up for him. It wasn't his business. But who was Han looking at so lovingly? Lee, of course. He knew he couldn't make this terribly handsome man fall in love with him, so he just looked at his photos when he was home, squeaking into his pillow. Oh, God, how many times his nose bled when Minho changed, those muscles! Those abs! It made his mouth water.
A week later, they were on the train with the whole class. They went to the edge of town for an excursion, and the whole class went with them. They were already on their way home. Night had fallen. Almost the entire train car was asleep; there were four of them in their room: Lee, Han, Hayoon, and Yunmi. Jisung woke up needing to go to the bathroom, and the stairs to go down were on Hayoon's side, since Han was on the top bunk like Hayoon, and Miyeon and Ho were below.

• Hayun... Can you give me the ladder?.. I want to go down... - Han said quietly, looking at her.
  "You'll get by, loser! " she whispered, quietly laughing with Yunmi.
  Suddenly, Minho got out of bed. Apparently he hadn't slept, and he picked up Han, lowering him to the floor. The girls' mouths dropped open, glaring murderously at Han, while Minho looked at Han with a smile. Han ran away, embarrassed.
