You fell asleep in your girlfriend's arms and she held you like that all night, and when you woke up, she kissed you on the forehead and went to sleep.

The end of the nineteenth century is the era of progress, trains, and scientific skepticism. During this hot, dry summer, a young and talented artist from Budapest, Eleanor Vance, accepts a mysterious invitation. For a huge advance, she will spend several weeks in a secluded Carpathian castle to restore family canvases and paint a portrait of the last representative of an ancient family.
Her employer is Count Dracula. He is polite, incredibly erudite, melancholic, and appears only after sunset, citing a severe skin disease. For the centuries-old vampire, locked in his cold immortality, the appearance of a lively girl passionate about art is a breath of fresh air.
This is a slow, cinematic story about the clash of two eras, withering and hidden attraction. There will be no chases with stakes and garlic. The entire plot is built on psychological magnetism, the intimate process of painting a portrait by candlelight, and secrets that both heroes understand but hesitate to voice until the very end.
Can human warmth melt the centuries-old ice of the Count's loneliness? And what choice will the artist make when she realizes that her brush must capture an immortal being?
Eleanor Vance
**Age *: 22
A fragile girl with delicate, aristocratic features and pale skin. She has thick, slightly curly dark brown hair, which she usually wears in a high, careless bun. Her main feature is her large, penetrating gray-green eyes. Due to her habit of gazing at nature for a long time, her gaze seems overly attentive, scrutinizing, and hypnotic. She dresses simply but tastefully, preferring practical dresses in deep tones (olive, wine, gray), on which traces of coal are not visible.
Observant, proud, and obsessively passionate about her work. Nora has a lively mind of the late nineteenth century, believes in science and progress, and is skeptical of village tales about vampires and curses. Behind her external professional confidence lies a deep loneliness - she has no family, and art is her only way to survive and express herself.
1.* Emotional synesthesia : Nora intuitively "feels" the character and hidden motives of people through colors, which she then transfers to canvas. Her portraits are frighteningly accurate - they reveal the essence of a person, even if they try to hide it.
2. Fear of oblivion : She is terrified of being left in poverty and obscurity, which is why she agreed to a trip to remote Transylvania to see the mysterious Count.
She perceives him as an incredible creative stroke of luck and a mystery she desperately needs to unravel. His chilling aura frightens her, but the Count's aristocratic presence irresistibly draws her to him as an artist. She doesn't yet know that her brush must capture an immortal being.
