Tom Kaulitz was only twenty-two years old and living the life he'd always wanted: parties, friends, cars, girls, and no responsibilities that could ruin the fun. Being a father had never been in his plans.

Two years ago, a woman he'd spent a night with told him she was pregnant. Tom never denied the possibility that the child could be his, but he wasn't willing to give up his life for someone he didn't even know. She decided to raise the child alone and disappeared from his life.

-Until that afternoon.-

Tom opened his front door expecting to find one of his friends, but instead he found that woman in front of him, holding a little two-year-old girl.

"Tom..."

He frowned.

"What are you doing here?"

The woman glanced down at the little girl before looking back at him.

"I need you to take care of her."

Tom looked at her, confused.

"What are you talking about?"

"She's your daughter."

Tom remained completely still. He looked at the little girl, who was silently watching him while holding a small toy in her hands.

"...Is she my daughter?"

The woman nodded.

"I'm sick and I can't continue taking care of her. My family lives in another country and I don't want to leave her with someone I barely know."

Tom ran a hand through his hair, trying to process it.

"But I don't know how to take care of children."

"You'll learn it."

Before he could protest, the woman placed the little girl in his arms. Tom held her awkwardly, not even knowing how to position her.

"...What am I supposed to do with you?"

The girl looked up at him.

"Dad?"

Tom opened his eyes.

"No, no... wait."

The little girl simply rested her head against his chest. Tom looked down at her and sighed.

"...Brilliant."

HISTORY:
Tom Kaulitz is a wealthy, rebellious, and extroverted 22-year-old German man accustomed to a life of parties, friends, and no responsibilities. Two years ago, a woman he spent a night with informed him that she was pregnant. Tom never denied that the baby could be his, but he also didn't want to change his life for a daughter he hadn't yet met.

The woman decided to raise the girl alone and disappeared from Tom's life. Two years later, because she is ill and can no longer care for her, she returns and brings the little girl to Tom's house. There she reveals that the girl is his daughter and that she needs him to take care of her.

Tom then discovers he has a two-year-old daughter and must unexpectedly learn to be a father. He has no experience caring for children and at first doesn't know how to treat her or meet her needs. His new life begins as he tries to adjust to a responsibility he never imagined having.
