「Student… or Hero? — The Unknown Arrival at U.A.」
Today in the main UA building, all the students were talking about someone who had joined UA today, but no one knew if this person was a hero or a student.
in Class 1A Mina was telling everyone what she heard from the other students
Mina: “everyone is talking about a new arrival here, one student heard Midnight talking about it as if the person was important but no one knows is it’s hero or student or even if it’s guy or woman”
Midoriya nods and spoke
Midoriya: “yeah I heard All might saying that too”
Bakugo rolled his eyes and spoke
Bakugo: “so what, a new extra coming here, who cares”
Kirishima chuckled and spoke
“don’t be like that Bakugo, maybe it’s a new teacher or a cool new student, it’s sounds fun to me”
then Aizawa entered with his tired and bored eyes and then stand in front of them and spoke
Aizawa: “silence, everyone sit down, there’s a new arrival that’s joined us”
Aizawa look at the door and spoke
Aizawa: “you can come in…”

⚡ My Hero Academia — The World
The world of My Hero Academia is basically our modern world—but with one massive difference:
🧬 Quirks
Almost everyone is born with a special ability called a Quirk.
Quirks can be almost anything:
Most people develop their Quirk when they’re young, usually around four years old.
Quirks are extremely diverse. Some are incredibly powerful, while others seem almost useless. Some people are even born with physical features permanently connected to their Quirk.
⸻
🦸 Hero Society
Because Quirks became so common, society eventually developed an entire professional hero system.
Heroes aren’t simply random people who fight criminals.
They’re licensed professionals.
A Pro Hero can:
Being a hero is also a career. Popular heroes can become celebrities, receive sponsorships, appear on television, and have huge fanbases.
That’s why someone like All Might isn’t just a powerful fighter—he’s basically a national symbol.
⸻
🏫 U.A. High School
One of the most prestigious hero schools is U.A. High School.
Students who want to become professional heroes can apply to the Hero Course.
The school doesn’t just teach them how to fight.
They learn:
Quirk control → combat → rescue → strategy → teamwork → hero ethics
And their training can be extremely dangerous because they’re being prepared for a profession where they could encounter actual villains.
Class 1-A is the main class we follow.
⚡ My Hero Academia — The World
👮 Police & Heroes
Heroes and police have different roles.
Police handle conventional law enforcement and investigations, while licensed heroes are particularly important when Quirks are involved.
A villain with a dangerous Quirk can be far beyond what an ordinary police officer can handle.
So heroes and police often work together.
⸻
🦹 Villains
Of course, not everyone uses their Quirk for good.
Some become criminals or villains.
Their reasons can vary:
And that’s one of the darker ideas behind MHA:
The world created to protect people isn’t perfect.
Some people fall through the cracks.
⸻
🏙️ Everyday Life
Despite all the heroes and villains, most ordinary people still live relatively normal lives.
They go to school.
They work.
They shop.
They use phones and technology.
They have families and friends.
The difference is that Quirks are part of everyday life.
Imagine walking down the street and seeing someone with wings buying groceries, someone floating objects while cleaning, or someone using a fire-producing Quirk to cook.
That’s completely normal in their society.
⸻
⚠️ The Dark Side of the World
The strongest Quirks can create huge inequalities.
Someone born with an incredible Quirk may have opportunities that someone with a weak Quirk doesn’t.
And some people are treated differently because of how their Quirk looks.
This becomes especially important with people whose Quirks make them appear non-human.
So beneath the colorful superhero world, MHA has a serious question:
If everyone is different, who decides what makes someone a hero—or a villain?
That tension is a huge part of the world.

🎓U.A
🎓 What U.A. is
U.A. trains students who want to become Pro Heroes.
It’s not an ordinary high school. Students are trained to handle real situations involving villains, disasters, rescues, and dangerous Quirks.
The school has several departments:
⸻
⭐ Class 1-A
This is the main class of the story.
Some of its most important students are:
Izuku Midoriya — One For All
Katsuki Bakugo — Explosion
Shoto Todoroki — Half-Cold Half-Hot
Ochaco Uraraka — Zero Gravity
Tenya Iida — Engine
Eijiro Kirishima — Hardening
Momo Yaoyorozu — Creation
Tsuyu Asui — Frog
Denki Kaminari — Electrification
Fumikage Tokoyami — Dark Shadow
They’re trained by Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraser Head.
⸻
🏫 The U.A. Teachers
U.A. has several Pro Heroes working as teachers.
🥱 Shota Aizawa
Eraser Head
The homeroom teacher of Class 1-A.
He’s strict, blunt, and often looks like he hasn’t slept in years—but he’s extremely protective of his students.
💪 All Might
Former No. 1 Hero
After becoming a teacher, he helps train the students and especially takes an interest in Midoriya.
🎙️ Present Mic
Hizashi Yamada
The loud English-teacher-like hero with the Voice Quirk.
🧠 Nezu
The principal of U.A.
He’s an extremely intelligent animal-like individual with the Quirk High Spec.
⸻
🏢 The U.A. Campus
U.A. is enormous and heavily protected.
It has:
The school also has specialized training areas where students can practice things like rescue operations, combat, natural disasters, and urban emergencies.
All Might — Toshinori Yagi
💪 1. All Might — Toshinori Yagi
Age: 49 at the beginning of the story
Hero Name: All Might
Quirk: One For All
Position: Former No. 1 Pro Hero / U.A. teacher
Personality
All Might is the definition of a larger-than-life hero. In his muscular form, he’s loud, confident, dramatic, and constantly smiling. He wants civilians to feel safe simply because he’s there.
Outside his hero persona, Toshinori is much more awkward and gentle. He’s humble, nervous in ordinary situations, and sometimes struggles with teaching because he spent most of his life fighting rather than explaining how to fight.
As a teacher, he’s incredibly protective of his students. He genuinely wants them to become heroes who can surpass him.
Quirk — One For All
One For All grants enormous physical strength, speed, durability, and power.
It can be passed from one person to another, allowing its strength to accumulate over generations.
Weaknesses
His greatest weakness is his physical condition.
Years of fighting have left his body severely damaged, and he can only maintain his powerful hero form for a limited amount of time.
He also has a tendency to carry everything alone.
Sad side
Toshinori spent his entire career believing that he had to be the person who saved everyone.
He became the Symbol of Peace, but that title came with an enormous burden.
Everyone expected him to smile.
Everyone expected him to win.
Everyone expected him to protect them.
Even when he was suffering, he felt he couldn’t let people see weakness.
That’s one reason teaching becomes so important to him: he’s finally trying to create people who can carry the future with him instead of leaving him to carry it alone.
Shota Aizawa — Eraser Head
🥱 2. Shota Aizawa — Eraser Head
Age: 30
Hero Name: Eraser Head
Quirk: Erasure
Position: Class 1-A homeroom teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Aizawa looks permanently exhausted—and honestly, he usually is.
He’s blunt, practical, sarcastic, strict, and not particularly impressed by dramatic displays.
But beneath that rough exterior, he’s one of U.A.’s most protective teachers.
He doesn’t express affection through speeches.
He expresses it by making sure his students survive.
Quirk — Erasure
When Aizawa looks at someone, he can temporarily erase their Quirk.
It makes him extremely dangerous against Quirk users.
He doesn’t need overwhelming physical strength when he can simply remove an opponent’s biggest advantage.
Weaknesses
He needs to maintain visual contact.
If he blinks, his Erasure stops.
His eyes can also become extremely strained, especially during prolonged use.
And despite being an excellent fighter, he’s still physically human.
Sad side
Aizawa has seen enough of the hero world to understand that students aren’t invincible.
He’s particularly serious about preparing them for reality because he doesn’t want them entering hero society believing everything will work out.
His coldness is partly a defense mechanism.
He cares deeply about his students, but he knows that becoming emotionally attached to people in a dangerous profession can also mean experiencing loss.
So instead of constantly telling them that he cares, he prepares them to survive.
Present Mic — Hizashi Yamada
🎙️ 3. Present Mic — Hizashi Yamada
Age: 30
Hero Name: Present Mic
Quirk: Voice
Position: U.A. teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Present Mic is basically the complete opposite of Aizawa.
He’s loud.
He’s energetic.
He’s theatrical.
He’s enthusiastic.
And he seems incapable of speaking at a normal volume. 😂
As a teacher, however, he’s much more responsible than his ridiculous personality suggests.
He’s friendly with students and brings a lot of energy into U.A.
Quirk — Voice
Present Mic can amplify his voice to incredibly powerful levels.
His screams can create destructive sonic waves.
It’s useful for attacking enemies, communication, crowd control, and disorientation.
Weaknesses
His Quirk depends heavily on his voice.
Anything that prevents him from speaking properly limits his ability.
And extremely powerful sound can affect allies as well as enemies.
Sad side
Present Mic hides serious emotions behind his energetic personality.
He’s one of those people who can make everyone else laugh while carrying difficult feelings himself.
His friendship with Aizawa also reveals a quieter side of him that isn’t obvious when he’s performing as Present Mic.
Nezu
🧠 4. Nezu
Age: Unknown
Hero Name: None
Quirk: High Spec
Position: Principal of U.A.
Personality
Nezu is cheerful, polite, playful, and sometimes unsettlingly calm.
He looks adorable.
He’s also terrifyingly intelligent.
He enjoys testing people and thinking several steps ahead.
Unlike many U.A. teachers, Nezu doesn’t need physical power to control a situation. His intelligence is his greatest weapon.
Quirk — High Spec
High Spec gives Nezu extraordinary intelligence.
His ability to analyze situations, predict behavior, and develop complicated strategies is far beyond normal human intelligence.
Weaknesses
He’s physically small and not particularly suited for direct combat.
His greatest advantage is his brain rather than his body.
Sad side
Nezu’s appearance is unusual even in a world filled with strange Quirks.
He’s an intelligent animal-like being living in a society where people can judge others based on appearance and Quirk.
That gives him a unique perspective on how humans treat those who are different.
His calm personality also hides how carefully he evaluates the dangers surrounding U.A.
Midnight — Nemuri Kayama
💤 5. Midnight — Nemuri Kayama
Age: 31
Hero Name: Midnight
Quirk: Somnambulist
Position: U.A. teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Midnight is confident, theatrical, playful, and sometimes provocative.
She enjoys teasing people and has a strong personality.
But she’s also an experienced hero and takes her responsibilities seriously.
She can switch from playful to professional very quickly when a situation becomes dangerous.
Quirk — Somnambulist
Midnight can release a sleep-inducing substance from her body.
People who inhale it can become extremely drowsy and eventually fall asleep.
It works particularly well against groups.
Weaknesses
Her Quirk is much more effective when opponents are able to inhale the substance.
Protective equipment or distance can reduce its effectiveness.
The Quirk also isn’t something she can use carelessly around allies.
Sad side
Midnight represents one of the uncomfortable realities of hero society: heroes can become public figures and celebrities while still dealing with extremely dangerous work.
Behind her confident image is someone who understands that being a Pro Hero isn’t entertainment.
She’s still responsible for protecting people—and for teaching children who may eventually enter that dangerous profession themselves.
Hound Dog — Ryo Inui
🐕 6. Hound Dog — Ryo Inui
Age: 30s
Hero Name: Hound Dog
Quirk: Dog
Position: U.A. teacher / Guidance counselor
Personality
Hound Dog has an intimidating appearance and can become extremely aggressive.
But he’s actually deeply concerned with the students’ emotional well-being.
He’s especially focused on helping students manage their emotions and behavior.
Quirk — Dog
His Quirk gives him dog-like physical characteristics and enhanced senses.
He has an excellent sense of smell and heightened physical abilities.
Weaknesses
His animal instincts can become difficult to manage when he’s extremely emotional or angry.
His appearance can also make him seem more frightening than he actually is.
Sad side
Hound Dog’s role is important because hero students aren’t machines.
They experience fear, stress, anger, grief, and pressure.
He understands that mental and emotional problems can be just as dangerous as physical injuries if they’re ignored.
Ectoplasm
🏋️ 7. Ectoplasm
Age: Unknown
Hero Name: Ectoplasm
Quirk: Clones
Position: U.A. teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Ectoplasm is serious, disciplined, and professional.
He’s not as expressive as Present Mic or Midnight.
He approaches teaching like a responsibility.
Quirk — Clones
Ectoplasm can create multiple clones of himself.
These clones can fight, train, and perform different tasks simultaneously.
Weaknesses
There’s a limit to how many clones he can create effectively.
Creating large numbers also places physical strain on him.
Sad side
Ectoplasm has experienced serious physical hardship as a hero.
Rather than allowing those experiences to make him bitter, he uses them to prepare younger heroes.
His character represents the teachers who don’t receive much attention but quietly help build the next generation.
Cementoss — Ken Ishiyama
🧱 8. Cementoss — Ken Ishiyama
Age: 28
Hero Name: Cementoss
Quirk: Cement
Position: U.A. teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Cementoss is calm, professional, intelligent, and generally composed.
He’s one of the more stable personalities among the U.A. staff.
Quirk — Cement
He can manipulate cement and concrete through physical contact.
He can create walls, structures, platforms, barriers, and other formations extremely quickly.
Weaknesses
His Quirk works best when cement or concrete is available.
His combat effectiveness is reduced in environments without suitable material.
Sad side
Cementoss represents the less glamorous side of hero work.
Being a hero isn’t always about defeating villains.
Sometimes it’s about building shelters, controlling environments, protecting civilians, and rebuilding after destruction.
That’s an important lesson for students who might otherwise think heroism is just fighting.
Snipe
🐭 9. Snipe
Age: Unknown
Hero Name: Snipe
Quirk: Homing
Position: U.A. teacher / Pro Hero
Personality
Snipe is calm, serious, and professional.
He’s one of U.A.’s more combat-oriented instructors.
Quirk — Homing
Snipe can lock onto targets and manipulate the trajectory of his projectiles.
This makes him extremely effective at ranged combat.
Weaknesses
His effectiveness depends on having something he can fire.
He’s also primarily a ranged fighter, meaning close combat isn’t necessarily his strongest area.
Sad side
Snipe’s profession means he’s trained to make decisions involving dangerous situations from a distance.
That kind of responsibility can be psychologically heavy.
He’s another reminder that Pro Heroes aren’t superheroes playing games—they’re professionals making decisions where mistakes can cost lives.
Power Loader — Higari Maijima
🎯 10. Power Loader — Higari Maijima
Age: 34
Hero Name: Power Loader
Quirk: Iron Claws
Position: U.A. Support Course teacher
Personality
Power Loader is serious, hardworking, practical, and passionate about engineering.
He’s not primarily a fighter.
His world revolves around hero technology.
Quirk — Iron Claws
His Quirk gives him powerful claws that allow him to dig through and manipulate hard materials.
Weaknesses
His Quirk is more useful for construction and excavation than direct combat.
Sad side
Power Loader represents an important truth about U.A.:
Heroes don’t become heroes alone.
Behind every student’s costume, weapon, support item, and specialized equipment are people who design and maintain those things.
He helps students turn their ideas into equipment that can actually save lives.
Izuku Midoriya — Deku
🟢 Izuku Midoriya — Deku
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: One For All
Personality:
Izuku is extremely kind, emotional, analytical, and determined. He naturally wants to save people, even when doing so puts himself in danger. He’s also incredibly observant and keeps notebooks full of information about heroes and their Quirks.
He can be nervous and insecure, especially around stronger people, but once someone is in danger, his instinct is usually “I have to help.”
Quirk:
One For All gives him tremendous physical power, speed, durability, and other abilities connected to the Quirk’s history.
Weaknesses:
His biggest early weakness is that his body cannot safely handle the enormous power. Using too much force can seriously injure him.
His other weakness is his tendency to sacrifice himself too easily. He sometimes thinks about saving everyone before thinking about his own safety.
Sad side:
Izuku grew up believing he could never become a hero because he was born without a Quirk. Watching other children discover their abilities while he had nothing left him feeling powerless and isolated.
Even after receiving the opportunity to become a hero, he constantly worries that he isn’t good enough.
His greatest emotional struggle isn’t simply becoming stronger—it’s believing that he deserves to stand beside the people he admires.
Katsuki Bakugo
💥 Katsuki Bakugo
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: Explosion
Height: 172 cm
Personality:
Bakugo is loud, aggressive, competitive, proud, and extremely ambitious.
He wants to be No. 1, not merely “a good hero.” He’s naturally talented and has excellent combat instincts, intelligence, reflexes, and physical ability.
Despite his horrible attitude, he’s not actually careless about hero work. He takes victory extremely seriously and wants to become genuinely strong.
Quirk:
His palms produce a nitroglycerin-like substance through his sweat, which he detonates to create explosions.
He can use explosions for attacks, movement, dodging, and aerial maneuvering.
Weaknesses:
His explosions depend partly on his physical condition. Excessive use can strain his arms and cause pain.
His biggest personal weakness is his pride.
He hates feeling inferior or helpless.
Sad side:
Bakugo grew up being praised for being exceptionally talented. Because everyone around him treated him as someone destined for greatness, he developed an intense fear of failure.
His relationship with Izuku is complicated by this. Izuku was originally someone Bakugo considered weak, yet Izuku continued moving forward.
That threatens Bakugo’s image of himself.
Underneath all the yelling and arrogance is someone who is terrified of being left behind.
Ochaco Uraraka
🩷 Ochaco Uraraka
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: Zero Gravity
Height: 156 cm
Personality:
Ochaco is cheerful, friendly, straightforward, and emotionally warm.
She’s one of the people who can make the atmosphere around her lighter.
But she’s also much more determined than she initially appears.
Quirk:
By touching something with the pads on her fingertips, she can remove its gravitational effect and make it float.
She can use it on objects and people.
Weaknesses:
Using her Quirk excessively causes nausea and dizziness.
She also has to physically touch something to activate it.
Sad side:
Ochaco’s family struggles financially. Her motivation for becoming a hero isn’t originally about fame.
She wants to become successful enough to help her parents live a more comfortable life.
That gives her dream an emotional weight that isn’t immediately obvious from her cheerful personality.
She often tries to hide difficult feelings behind a smile.
Tenya Iida
🛡️ Tenya Iida
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: Engine
Height: 179 cm
Personality:
Iida is serious, disciplined, polite, organized, and extremely responsible.
He’s the kind of person who follows rules even when everyone else is acting casually.
As Class 1-A’s class representative, he naturally tries to keep everyone organized.
Quirk:
Engines in his calves allow him to run at incredible speeds.
He can also improve his performance through different engine techniques.
Weaknesses:
His engines require proper maintenance and have limits.
His greatest emotional weakness is that he can become blinded by his emotions when someone he loves is hurt.
Sad side:
Iida comes from a respected hero family.
His older brother, Ingenium, is someone he deeply admires.
Because of that, Iida carries enormous expectations about what it means to become a hero.
His biggest emotional lesson is realizing that being a hero isn’t about revenge or living up to someone’s image—it’s about protecting people.
Shoto Todoroki
🔥❄️ Shoto Todoroki
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot
Personality:
Shoto initially appears cold, quiet, distant, and almost emotionless.
He’s extremely intelligent and observant but isn’t naturally good at understanding ordinary social situations.
As he becomes closer to Class 1-A, his personality slowly becomes more relaxed.
Quirk:
His left side produces ice.
His right side produces fire.
This allows him to control temperature and fight using both sides.
Weaknesses:
Overusing one side can cause his body temperature to become dangerously unbalanced.
His emotional conflict can also interfere with his ability to use his full potential.
Sad side:
Shoto’s childhood is one of the darkest among Class 1-A.
His father, Endeavor, deliberately trained him to become stronger than All Might.
His family life was heavily affected by Endeavor’s obsession with surpassing All Might.
Shoto eventually began rejecting the fire side of his Quirk because he associated it with his father.
His struggle isn’t simply about becoming stronger.
It’s about figuring out:
“Who am I if I stop being the person my father wanted me to become?”
Tsuyu Asui
🐸 Tsuyu Asui
Age: 15 at the beginning
Quirk: Frog
Personality:
Tsuyu is calm, honest, practical, and observant.
She doesn’t usually exaggerate her emotions.
She’s also extremely straightforward and will tell her friends when she thinks they’re making a mistake.
Quirk:
Her body has frog-like abilities:
Weaknesses:
Extreme cold can negatively affect her body.
She also isn’t as physically powerful as some of the strongest close-range fighters.
Sad side:
Tsuyu has a strong sense of responsibility because she had to grow up somewhat quickly.
She has younger siblings and is very protective of her family.
She often acts mature because she’s used to thinking about other people.
Her emotional strength comes from being someone who doesn’t easily allow herself to fall apart in front of others.
Minoru Mineta
🍇 Minoru Mineta
Age: 15
Quirk: Pop Off
Personality:
Mineta is cowardly, immature, easily frightened, and often obsessed with girls.
However, he’s considerably more intelligent than his behavior makes him appear.
When he’s forced into a serious situation, he can actually think creatively.
Quirk:
He can pull sticky purple balls from his head.
They stick to almost anything except Mineta himself.
Weaknesses:
Removing too many balls causes bleeding and physical discomfort.
His physical abilities are also relatively poor compared with many classmates.
Sad side:
Mineta doesn’t have the dramatic tragedy of characters like Shoto.
His insecurity is more ordinary.
He’s constantly surrounded by people with impressive abilities and struggles with feeling weak.
A lot of his inappropriate behavior can also be interpreted as him desperately wanting attention and validation.
Eijiro Kirishima
🪨 Eijiro Kirishima
Age: 15
Quirk: Hardening
Personality:
Kirishima is friendly, energetic, loyal, straightforward, and obsessed with the idea of being “manly.”
He’s one of the most dependable friends in Class 1-A.
He respects courage and admires people who stand up for others.
Quirk:
He can harden his entire body, making himself extremely resistant to physical attacks.
He can also turn his hardened body into a weapon.
Weaknesses:
His Hardening has a limit.
If he’s pushed beyond that limit, his defense eventually weakens.
Sad side:
Kirishima has struggled with his own courage.
Before U.A., he saw himself as someone who hesitated when people needed help.
He admired people who were brave but didn’t believe he possessed the same quality.
His biggest fear isn’t losing a fight.
It’s freezing when someone needs him.
That’s why becoming someone dependable means so much to him.
Momo Yaoyorozu
🧠 Momo Yaoyorozu
Age: 15
Quirk: Creation
Personality:
Momo is intelligent, polite, sophisticated, responsible, and naturally suited to leadership.
She’s academically brilliant and has an enormous amount of knowledge.
But despite her intelligence, she’s not completely confident in herself.
Quirk:
She can create non-living objects from her body by converting stored lipids into matter.
The more complicated the object, the more knowledge she needs to understand how to create it.
Weaknesses:
Her Quirk requires calories.
Creating huge or numerous objects can exhaust her.
She also needs to understand the structure of whatever she’s creating.
Sad side:
Momo is accustomed to being one of the smartest people in the room.
That sounds wonderful until she experiences a situation where someone else performs better than her.
She can become extremely self-critical.
Her biggest struggle is learning that being intelligent doesn’t mean you’ll always have the right answer.
Fumikage Tokoyami
🐦 Fumikage Tokoyami
Age: 15
Quirk: Dark Shadow
Personality:
Tokoyami is serious, mysterious, poetic, and somewhat dramatic.
He enjoys darkness and speaks in a way that makes ordinary conversations sound like ancient prophecies 😂.
Despite that, he’s actually thoughtful and loyal.
Quirk:
Dark Shadow is a sentient shadow creature that emerges from his body.
It becomes stronger in darkness and weaker under bright light.
Weaknesses:
Dark Shadow can become difficult to control when its power becomes too great.
Too much darkness can turn its strength against Tokoyami.
Sad side:
Tokoyami’s Quirk is powerful but frightening.
He has to learn how to control something that is essentially another being connected to him.
His biggest fear is losing control and hurting someone.
Denki Kaminari
⚡ Denki Kaminari
Age: 15
Quirk: Electrification
Height: 168 cm
Personality:
Denki is energetic, playful, social, and sometimes a complete idiot 😂.
He’s one of the more casual members of the class.
But he’s genuinely kind and cares about his friends.
Quirk:
He can release electricity from his body.
His electrical attacks can affect large areas.
Weaknesses:
His biggest weakness is hilarious but serious:
If he exceeds his brain’s processing limit, his brain temporarily short-circuits, leaving him unable to think properly.
Sad side:
Denki sometimes worries that his Quirk isn’t as useful or impressive as those of his classmates.
He wants to contribute rather than become the class’s comic relief.
Yuga Aoyama
🕴️ Yuga Aoyama
Age: 15
Quirk: Navel Laser
Height: 168 cm
Personality:
Aoyama is dramatic, flashy, eccentric, and obsessed with looking elegant.
He loves attention and often acts as though he’s the star of a fashion show.
But beneath that ridiculous personality is someone much more insecure.
Quirk:
He fires a powerful laser from his navel.
Weaknesses:
He can’t fire it continuously without suffering physical consequences.
His body isn’t naturally suited to handling the power.
Sad side:
Aoyama has always felt different from other people.
His Quirk doesn’t naturally fit his body, and he struggles with the feeling that something about him is fundamentally wrong.
His exaggerated personality partly functions as a mask.
The more ridiculous he acts, the less people notice how insecure he can actually be.
Kyoka Jiro
🎧 Kyoka Jiro
Age: 15
Quirk: Earphone Jack
Personality:
Jiro is sarcastic, calm, practical, and sometimes easily embarrassed.
She doesn’t like overly emotional displays and tends to hide her softer side behind sarcasm.
She’s also passionate about music.
Quirk:
Her earphone-like earlobes can plug into objects and transmit or detect vibrations.
She can use sound offensively as well.
Weaknesses:
Her Quirk isn’t primarily designed for overwhelming physical attacks.
Extremely powerful sounds can also affect her.
Sad side:
Jiro has moments where she doubts whether her interests are “hero-like” enough.
Music is extremely important to her, but she sometimes struggles with the feeling that she needs to prove herself as a hero.
Her vulnerability is especially visible when she has to put something personal—like her music—in front of others.
Mina Ashido
🩷 Mina Ashido
Age: 15
Quirk: Acid
Height: 159 cm
Personality:
Mina is energetic, confident, friendly, social, and extremely expressive.
She’s one of the biggest sources of energy in Class 1-A.
Quirk:
She produces acid from her body and can adjust its concentration.
She can use it offensively, defensively, and even for movement.
Weaknesses:
Her acid still has limits.
Using too much or producing excessively powerful acid can exhaust her.
Sad side:
Mina’s cheerful personality can hide insecurity.
She’s very confident socially, but that doesn’t mean she’s fearless.
One of her emotional struggles involves moments where she realizes that being confident and being brave aren’t necessarily the same thing.
She wants to be someone who can step forward when others are afraid.

This makes him excellent at:
Weaknesses:
His additional limbs can be damaged.
His Quirk is versatile but requires intelligent positioning rather than brute force.
Sad side:
Shoji has experienced prejudice because of his appearance.
His Quirk gives him a more unusual physical appearance, and he understands what it’s like to be judged before people know who he is.
That makes him particularly sensitive toward people who are treated differently.

Quirk:

Weaknesses:
His Quirk doesn’t provide flashy long-range abilities.
He has to get physically close to opponents.
Sad side:
Ojiro can sometimes feel overshadowed because his Quirk isn’t as spectacular as many of his classmates’ abilities.
Yet he doesn’t complain about it.
Instead, he trains his body and martial arts until he can make his seemingly simple Quirk dangerous.

Weaknesses:
His supply of tape is limited.
If he uses too much, his elbows can become irritated or painful.
Sad side:
Sero doesn’t have an especially tragic backstory.
His more subtle struggle is being surrounded by extremely powerful personalities while having a relatively simple Quirk.
Instead of trying to compete with everyone directly, he develops his own fighting style.
Toru Hagakure
🫥 Toru Hagakure
Age: 15
Quirk: Invisibility
Height: 152 cm
Personality:
Toru is energetic, cheerful, optimistic, and extremely social.

Sad side:
Being invisible sounds amazing until you think about it emotionally.
Toru can’t show facial expressions to people.
She can’t easily be recognized visually.
Even something as simple as seeing someone’s reaction to her smile is impossible.
She has learned to compensate through her personality—being loud, expressive, and energetic so that people notice her presence, even when they can’t see her.

Sad side:
Sato doesn’t have a major tragic storyline.
His struggle is more about being underestimated because his personality is quiet.
He’s strong, but he isn’t loud about it.
His baking hobby also gives him a softer side that contrasts nicely with his physical strength.
Koji Koda
🐾 Koji Koda
Age: 15
Quirk: Anivoice
Height: 186 cm
Personality:
Koda is extremely shy, gentle, soft-spoken, and compassionate.

Quirk:
He can communicate with animals and command them.
This makes him especially useful for reconnaissance and rescue situations.
Weaknesses:
His Quirk depends on animals being available.
He isn’t naturally suited to direct combat against powerful opponents.
His biggest personal weakness is his extreme shyness.
Sad side:
Koda’s appearance can make people assume he’s frightening, even though his personality is incredibly gentle.
He also struggles to speak confidently around others.
One of his most meaningful forms of growth is learning that being quiet doesn’t mean being weak.
