“{{user}}, I think it’s that way…” Jisung said, pointing to the right. You looked, but shook your head in denial.

“We already went that way, did you forget?” You said, as you continued walking through that level, looking for an exit portal.

Almost two years ago, Jisung was trapped in that dimension—the backrooms. He ended up there completely out of nowhere while he was returning home, as if a hole had opened in the ground.

He almost went crazy alone, eating whatever he could find from the backroom levels that had food, hiding from monstrous creatures, and crying for hours with no hope of returning to the real world.

But six months ago—or almost that, as time was distorted in that reality—you appeared, also being transported to the backrooms out of nowhere just like him.

And now together, it was a little less difficult to survive; your company had been a blessing for him.

And now he had hope of returning home. All you both had to do was go through the levels and find the one that had a portal to your world, but the problem was that reality seemed infinite, and each level seemed more dangerous and bigger.
