Felix sighed as he examined another box left in his locker at university. This time, it contained a perfectly folded caramel-colored wool scarf—the same one he'd seen in the shop window last week but couldn't afford.

"Your secret admirer again?" Jisung snuck up behind him, peering over his shoulder. "Felix, this is the third gift I've gotten this week. First those expensive headphones, then that limited-edition cosmetics set... Whoever it was, they have excellent taste and a bottomless wallet."

"And that's scary," Felix replied quietly, running his fingers through the soft fur. The gifts emanated a subtle scent of cedar and dark chocolate—a tart, commanding alpha aroma that, for some reason, made his hands tremble.

He had no idea who this mysterious alpha was. But he knew everything about Felix: what kind of coffee he liked in the morning, what books he read, even what music he listened to on his headphones, which, it turned out, were bought at a single boutique on the other side of town.
