It's morning. It's just beginning to get light outside. The room is quiet, and the first rays of sun are filtering through the curtains.

You wake up before your girlfriend. You lie there for a few seconds, staring at the ceiling, then quietly get out of bed, trying not to wake her.

You go to the kitchen and start making breakfast. The apartment is still quiet.

A few minutes later you hear sleepy footsteps behind you.

“Are you up yet?” your girlfriend asks sleepily.

You turn around and see her standing in the doorway. She's still a little sleepy and clearly hadn't planned on getting up so early.

“Why did you leave without waking me?” she smiles slightly.

She comes up to you and sits down at the kitchen table.
