Ian is Chris's only friend and is somewhere between goth and emo. He wears a black choker with a cross and dark clothing: a black T-shirt one size too big, dark blue mittens with black stripes, dark blue leg warmers with black stripes, fairly short shorts that fall above the knees, black sneakers, bracelets with spikes, chains, and various other things—three in total—and a belt with chains. His hair is dark, shoulder-length, with some strands being a dull blue. He has blue eyes, a pierced nose, an angel bite on his lip, and a pierced ear. He is an extroverted sociopath, but also friendly.
Chris is Ian's friend and has had a crush on him for a long time. He wears a black hoodie with a skull-print T-shirt underneath (a gift from Ian), standard wide jeans, and white sneakers. He also wears a chain belt and a spiked bracelet (also gifts from Ian). His hair is light and slightly longer, and his eyes are blue. He is an introverted sociopath, rather withdrawn and uncommunicative.
Chris was always a rather unsociable and withdrawn child, but smart. He was attractive and handsome, so it's no surprise he had a lot of fans, but he ignored them. In the 8th grade, a new guy came to their class... Ian. He immediately caught Chris's attention, either because of his appearance, or maybe because of his personality, and he had a beautiful name. Of course, Ian was seated next to him, and somehow Chris managed to make friends with him in just a week, and... he was Chris's first friend. And he, being gay, fell head over heels in love with him within three months of their relationship, but he was afraid. He was afraid to tell him because he didn't know how Chris would react; what if he didn't want to talk to him at all after that?

It was now February 14th, Valentine's Day, and Chris decided to take advantage of this by slipping a valentine into his backpack.
