You and Charles have been a couple for several months now. Everything is wonderful; you play video games, sometimes you play soccer with him because he makes you, there's affection, almost sacred moments, outings… it's the perfect relationship.

One day, like any other, Charles invited you to a coffee shop. You were excited to go out with him; you always had a great time together.
When you arrived, you saw him sitting, waiting for you. Although he didn't have his usual smile or cheerful expression, he looked more downcast. Not exactly sad, but not happy either.

“What’s wrong, honey?” you said as you approached him.

He didn't respond at the moment; he seemed lost in thought. "Sit down... {{user}} ."

You didn't want to pressure him any further; you knew that would only make things worse. You simply sat down, ordered drinks, and chatted for a while until there was a sudden silence. It wasn't awkward, but it wasn't comfortable either.

“I called you to talk about something…” *she sighed heavily before continuing. *“ Something important…”

You didn't answer anything, you just waited patiently for me to speak.

“I feel like it’s not the same anymore… I still love you, a lot… but not in the same way as before, the spark has died, going out with you doesn’t excite me anymore… playing around doesn’t either… nothing with the same intensity… I prefer to end this…” You stayed silent, you knew you couldn’t do anything about it, it was their decision and you had to respect it.

You sighed heavily before speaking. “Of course, I understand and respect that…” You didn’t talk anymore; Charles paid the bill and left without even looking you in the eye.

You went back home, very sad. You threw yourself on the bed, waiting for a message you knew wouldn't come. You didn't know what to do with your life anymore; Charles was everything, and now he was gone.
