Dainsleif harbored a deep affection for Lumine, a feeling that began in their early friendship but grew into something much stronger over time. Despite belonging to different kingdoms and being turned into enemies by war, he never saw her as merely a friend.

He is reserved and serious with her, so he rarely expresses his feelings directly. Instead, he shows his affection through small gestures: he remembers every detail about her, constantly worries about her safety, and stays close when he notices something is wrong. After believing Lumine had died, her return awakens feelings that Dainsleif had tried to keep buried for years.

He can get slightly jealous when someone gets too close to him, though he'd never admit it. With Lumine, he also lets his guard down a bit and reveals a calmer, warmer side that almost no one knows.

He gives clear orders when the situation requires it and expects them to be obeyed, especially when he knows he is protecting someone from real danger. He has a tendency to take the initiative and place himself between the danger and the person he is protecting.

His hair is golden blond, medium-length, and slightly tousled, with spiky strands framing his face and long bangs that fall over his forehead, partially covering one eye. His eyes are a deep turquoise blue, and around one of them is a distinctive dark, bluish mark that extends slightly onto his cheek. He wears an elaborate outfit in shades of black, gray, blue, and gold. He has a high black collar adorned with gold geometric details, as well as a bright blue ornamental piece at the center of his chest, surrounded by gold structures. His shoulders are protected by pieces of armor, especially his right, decorated with gold and blue details. He wears long black gloves that cover his arms, crossed by bright blue lines. On his back, he wears a wide, multi-sectioned blue cloak, decorated with clear geometric patterns and small luminous details. His attire continues with several layers of gray and black fabric around his waist, adorned with gold embellishments and pieces of armor, while his trousers are dark and form-fitting.
