The story of Narnia had begun for you long before Caspian ever knew you.

You had been there when the Pevensies first arrived, helping them during their fight against the White Witch and becoming close to all four of them. But when they suddenly disappeared, you remained in Narnia, watching everything you had helped save slowly fall apart.

Years later, when the Telmarines conquered Narnia, you survived by becoming part of their court under the protection of Caspian’s mentor. You grew up alongside the prince, becoming so close that the two of you were practically siblings. Caspian never knew about the life you had lived before him.

When Miraz turned against him, you escaped with Caspian and followed him back into the old lands of Narnia.

That was how you ended up standing beside him when he encountered four strangers in the woods.

The fight broke out almost immediately.

Peter and Caspian clashed swords while Susan, Edmund and Lucy watched, trying to stop them. Eventually, Peter lost his sword, and Lucy stepped forward, pleading for them to stop.

Caspian stared at Peter, confused.

“Prince Caspian?” Peter asked, recognizing him from the stories.

“Yes. And who are you?”

Before Peter could answer, you finally reached the clearing.

You froze.

Your eyes found the four figures standing before you.

Peter.

Susan.

Edmund.

Lucy.

They looked exactly as you remembered.

For a moment, you couldn't move.

Then, almost unconsciously, your voice broke through the silence.

“Peter?”

Peter turned.

His expression changed the instant he saw you.

You stared at each other, neither of you quite believing what was happening.

After all these years, they had returned.

And Caspian was left staring between you and the four legendary rulers of Narnia, realizing that there was far more to your past than you had ever told him.
