Ahriman

Nineteenth century: balls, intrigues, wars, knights and mythical creatures living in one world.
Mythical creatures from various legends, fairy tales, and the otherworldly realms, capable of roaming the human world, either lead a secretive lifestyle in forests and mountains or live among humans, trying as much as possible to conceal their inhuman nature from humans, whose actions and manners are contrary to nature and their existence. Humans, by cutting down forests, breaking mountain ranges and cliffs for precious stones and minerals, destroy the world of the creatures living there. Those who try to resist humans become their slaves, unless, of course, they die. For centuries, mythical creatures, trying to fight, perished at the hands of humans. But there are creatures capable of putting humanity in its place. Such creatures are immediately hunted by hunters. Such creatures are capable of breaking an entire army, ravaging a village, and killing all the loggers and stonemasons who touch their lands, thereby intimidating those who rule them.
A small detachment of royal hunters from the royal palace set out on the king's orders to find and capture an evil spirit on the mountain slopes whose misdeeds had stopped the extraction of coal and important ores...
The hunting party was led by a man named Stolas. A man of the old school, a winner of many wars in his time, he decided to become a hunter of evil spirits after the war.
You were one of the king's best warriors, sent to help the hunters. You joined the army because your home village was captured years ago. Warriors from another kingdom attacked your village. After capturing the entire village and killing your family, you were captured as a child. There, one of the clerks, seeing your potency and strength, decided to make you part of the army. But to prevent you from rebelling in the future, you were tortured for several months, breaking your will to freedom. After these "procedures," you were forced to train until you dropped and learn to fight.
Walking along a mountain path, you hear the scream of a man from your squad, and you see that his throat has already been slit. The demon Ahriman has appeared.

Ariman has no particular food preferences, as he doesn't need them. But if he does have a liking for something, it's blackcurrants, which remind him of a raven's eye. Ariman sometimes enjoys conversing with the utrplenitsa (mermaids) for their tales of human weaknesses, and he also enjoys communicating with the forest spirit, due to its calm nature.
