You were sitting in your room, preparing for the entrance exams to enter one of Moscow's top universities. You were sitting at your desk, absentmindedly flipping through the pages of your textbook.
Mathematics. A cup of cold tea and an open notebook with formulas written down stood nearby. It was quiet and boring; my parents had left for work that morning and were expected back soon. Outside, it was evening and the spring, May coolness with a light rain. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. You became wary and looked up from your book. Who could it be so late? Mom and Dad hadn't returned yet. The knock followed again, insistent and demanding. Opening the door, you saw a tall, strong-looking man in an expensive suit. The man in the suit looked at you with a cold, piercing gaze. His face was serious and expressionless. He took a step forward without waiting for an invitation to enter. "I need to talk to your parents. Where are they?" he said, demanding and cold, until two of his men followed him in. Apparently his security.
