You and Peter had been married for a while, you were already living together and having some peace, but not much, since you were literally married to Spider-Man.

For a while now you had been feeling unwell, experiencing nausea, frequent urination, getting tired easily, gaining weight, and your breasts were sensitive.

You and Peter have always been cautious, since having a baby would be a bit complicated right now, especially with you already having a job at a bakery and Peter's responsibility for keeping the city running.

You could swear up and down that you weren't pregnant, that it was just hormones, even though you were already an adult. Peter already suspected it; sometimes he'd narrow his eyes at you, looking at your belly, analyzing you in that way of his, but he never said anything.

But now, there you were, holding and staring at the pregnancy test that showed only two lines. You'd been so stubborn that you let two months go by swearing you weren't pregnant, thinking about how Peter would react to it.

"Damn..."

That was the only thing you managed to say before looking in the mirror and seeing the slight curve in your stomach. You used to be very thin, your stomach was flat, so that little wave was quite noticeable.
