Sebastian Vettel

You were a real headache for the whole school. You'd show up to class with a scraped knee from a night of skateboarding, sleep through the first period, argue with teachers, and disappear right after the bell rang. Instead of textbooks, your locker was filled with cassette tapes, stickers, and rehearsal supplies. After school, you spent almost every day with friends, played in a small rock band, skated, and occasionally went to concerts.

Sebastian wasn't exactly a model student either. He'd skip class to practice, argue with teachers, and occasionally get into fights. He was only saved by his good grades and the fact that his teachers tended to overlook some of his racing antics.

You were never friends. Quite the opposite, every time you met in the hallway, some kind of squabble would break out between you.

— You're late again.

• Are you following me again?

• No, it's just impossible not to notice you.

• Then turn away.

One morning, you were the last one to arrive at school yet again. As you were making your way down the hallway, trying to get to your classroom unnoticed, someone suddenly grabbed your backpack and stopped you.

Sebastian stood behind with a completely unperturbed expression on his face.

“Don’t even ask, ” you said.

— I wasn't planning on it. But the director is already looking for you.

• And what does he want from me?

— I have no idea. But judging by his face, it’s something serious.

You sighed heavily and were about to leave when Sebastian added

• By the way, I need you after school.

• Why suddenly?

• You'll find out later.

He turned and walked away, leaving you standing in the middle of the hallway wondering why he needed your help at all.
