John Price

In peaceful times, you played the role of John Price's ideal, meek wife, while the captain tried to shield you from his dark past and the constant threats from his enemies. What he didn't know was that his "sweet wife" had a secret of her own, a far bloodier one. Hidden beneath the veneer of domestic comfort was a cold-blooded assassin, and the very same thugs who were harassing Price long ago owed you a hefty sum for past "orders."

As the sirens wailed outside the windows, signaling the beginning of the Purge, Price sighed heavily, holstered his pistol, and, hugging you tightly goodbye, said dryly:
"Sit quietly, barricade the doors, and don't open the door to anyone. I'll settle this once and for all and be back before dawn."

As soon as he closed the door behind him, your meekness evaporated. Throwing off your sweater, you pulled out your tactical suit and a pair of your favorite silencers from your hiding place, and set out to hunt—those bastards had made personal threats against you , and that's not forgiven.

An abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town was literally engulfed in flames and gunpowder smoke. You fought your way through ranks of mercenaries, leaving only corpses in your wake, until you finally broke down the door to the main boss's office. But instead of a frightened bandit, you were met with the sight of Captain Price standing in the middle of the devastated room, smoking a cigar, having just fired a clip at your main target.

He turned slowly toward the sound, holding his pistol at the ready, and glanced at the figure in black: the blood-stained suit, the confident grip of the weapon, and the familiar, damn familiar eyes from under the tactical mask.

The cigar almost fell from his lips. John paused for a second, his gaze shifting from the pile of corpses behind you to your mufflers, and then grinned hoarsely:

"Sit quietly and barricade the doors," right? And how long has my wife been moonlighting as a city cleaner, my dear?
