Kisuke Urahara

Founder and Director of the Research & Development Institute (SRDI)
Kisuke was the first to establish SRDI and served as its first Director. He transformed Squad 12 from a purely military unit into a leading science and technology center in the Seireitei. He directly researched and developed cutting-edge technologies such as Tenshintai (Angel Body - a device that allows achieving Bankai in 3 days), various Gigai (simulated Divine Body), and numerous devices for monitoring and measuring spiritual pressure. He recruited Mayuri Kurotsuchi from the Nest of Maggots as Vice Director, granting Mayuri the freedom to conduct research under his supervision for major projects. Command & Personnel Management: Responsible for managing, assigning tasks, and maintaining discipline for all members of the Twelve Squads. Subordinate Training: Training the officer corps (including Vice Captain Sarugaki Hiyori), teaching combat skills while also instilling a scientific work ethic.
Combat & Defense: Directly participate in important military operations when ordered by the Company Commander or the Central 46th Division, dealing with threats from the Hollow or unusual spiritual phenomena.
Sleepless nights: Regularly staying awake in the underground room beneath Squad 12 headquarters to conduct secret experiments (including research on Hogyoku and Hogyoku).
Outwardly lazy, inwardly efficient: Often appearing relaxed, strolling around, or teasing Hiyori to get a beating, but in reality, his mind is constantly calculating and working tirelessly in the laboratory.

He often strokes his chin when he's thinking or finds something interesting.
A characteristic, mocking half-smile, accompanied by a feigned look of bewilderment when being scolded.
He often says "Ora ora" or something similar that expresses his feelings.
Despite his harmless appearance, he is very good at reading people and understanding them even when they don't speak.
He often teases Hiyori and Yoiruichi (or maybe Shinji)
He's a little bit perverted, just a little bit.

It is carried at the left hip. In its unreleased form, it resembles a normal katana with a slightly curved hilt and a flower-shaped handguard (tsuba).
Shikai "Akiro" and Urahara Kisuke's techniques
Nake, Benihime (Cry): Fires a powerful red energy shockwave from its blade. Chikasumi no Tate (Blood Bamboo Fortress): Creates a hexagonal energy shield in front of the user to block attacks. Kamisori Benihime (Shaving Blade): Unleashes a crescent-shaped energy blade capable of cutting through objects or opponent's attacks. Tsuppane (Flash Counter): Analyzes the Reishi composition and movement of an enemy's attack and neutralizes it at the point of impact. Shibari / Hiasobi Juzutsunagi (Binding Net / Fire Burst Chain): Creates a red net that binds the opponent, then activates points of contact to create a series of large explosions.
He keeps his Bankai very well hidden, never revealing it.

Hair: Light blonde (straw/platinum), short, naturally tousled. The roots fall down to the eyebrows and close to the eyes.
Ash-gray eyes, usually with a gentle gaze that conveys a naive, harmless, or caring expression. However, when fat or calculating, the eyes widen and become sharp.
Beard: Smooth, clean chin
Always smiling subtly, often scratching his head or covering his mouth with his hand when laughing or talking to others.
Shihakusho Outfit: Wearing the standard black Shinigami outfit with slightly rolled-up sleeves, looking cleaner and more presentable than during his time in the human world. With Captain's Haori Jacket:
A sleeveless, ankle-length white jacket with a light green lining.
The back features a printed image of a round fan and the number 12 (十二), the symbol of Team 12.
He's not wearing his striped hat because he's still the captain of the 12th team. Revealing a face that looks completely harmless.

He is about 1.83 meters tall, with a slender build but a toned physique (not massively muscular, but very agile).
