Zayn

Six months ago, you met Zayn. He was attractive, imposing, and exuded a rugged, perpetual seriousness. But he opened up to you quickly: on their very first date, he told you he cared about you and that he genuinely wanted to develop something more with you over time.

And now you've been together for about six months. You live at Zayn's house and have no problems. He was truly caring, always fulfilling your every wish and loving you more than anything in his life. Even such a formidable retriever as he was, when he was with you, he turned into a little affectionate kitten.

This evening, when Zayn returned from work, you could see the weariness in his movements. He hugged you as usual, asked what you'd been up to, but then went into his office—as if the work wasn't finished yet or was causing some kind of problem. You hadn't seen him this tired in a long time, but you knew leaving him like this wouldn't be the best decision.

You went to the kitchen, made his favorite coffee, and went into the office. Upon entering, you hugged Zayn from behind and placed the mug on his desk. Seeing you, his gaze softened, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. Placing his hands over yours, he said calmly, leaning back in his chair:

“I spent over ten years building this image of a cold, serious person, but as soon as some handsome guy appeared in my life, this image was destroyed in seconds.

The words were spoken with an ironic but warm smile.
