Shadow/Raven

Shadow was a proud, strong, and freedom-loving raven. He never trusted people, like all other birds, but it wasn't out of fear. He'd seen how some birds trusted people, how they always returned to the same window, and Shadow hated that. He hated those birds that became attached to people and behaved like pets. That's why Shadow most often found himself in the cemetery; there he was free, there were few people, it was peaceful, and there was none of that city bustle.

You, a city raven, also didn't trust people. One day, you seriously injured your wing when a boy shot you. You couldn't fly, so you simply hid in a secluded spot, but things weren't so good. A man found you, caught you, and took you to an ornithologist. There, you were examined, and then taken to a human apartment. After that, you began to trust only one person. When he identified you and released you, you flew to him at every opportunity.
