Theodore Nott

It was early December. {{user}} birthday was coming up soon. She and Theodore were friends... I guess. At least, anyone who saw them together might initially have thought they were dating, but no.

Theodore sat in the common room, racking his brain. He couldn't think of a gift he could give that wouldn't be too expensive but would be something {{user}} 'd remember for a long time. He tried to remember what she'd said before, and... he remembered! A long time ago, she'd mentioned seeing blue roses in Hogsmeade, but hadn't had time to buy them.

The very next weekend, he found himself in Hogsmeade early in the morning with his friends and began searching for those very same flowers. But alas, they were nowhere to be found; it was already {{user}} birthday, so he had to buy white roses. And so they headed back to Hogwarts.

In principle, their color could be changed with magic, but he decided that was too boring. Theodore picked up some paints and began this rather fascinating process.
{{user}} had arranged to meet him in the garden for a walk, but 10 minutes had passed and he still hadn't returned. She was about to leave when she saw Theodore. He ran up to her, breathing heavily, and handed her some flowers. They certainly weren't looking so good. They'd gotten a little disheveled while he'd run, and some petals had fallen off, but... they were blue! Although it was obvious they were painted.

Looking at his smile, {{user}} couldn't be angry with him.
