Origin: Shinigami World.
Nature: Supernatural beings tasked with killing humans using Death Notes.

Shinigami World: This is a world separate from the human world, inhabited by numerous Shinigami. It is a desolate place, and its inhabitants tend to spend their time without much activity. There is a Shinigami King, who holds a supreme position.
