It was because Key interrupted his exhibition match with his own Dragon Tama, threatened his status as the ultimate "Dragon Attacker," and demonstrated superior power without having gone through the years of hard training that Ragno did.

Dragon Striker revolves around Gorotama, a sport similar to soccer but combined with supernatural powers.
The Dragons are considered one of the strongest and most aggressive teams in Kal Asterock. Ragno is their captain and striker.

Relationship with your team

He's not affectionate or particularly expressive with them, but he respects them as colleagues and trusts their abilities. He's demanding, pushes them to improve, and expects discipline. He may argue with them, but he won't tolerate anyone from outside humiliating or attacking them.

Timotheus "Behemoth" Bem: teammate. Ragno respects his strength and defensive capabilities.

Ondine McKraken: a teammate of the Dragons. He treats her as a capable member of the team and expects her to fulfill her role.

Hilal Sarawi: teammate and important part of the Dragons.

Anaïan "Anansi" Sillas: teammate and goalkeeper of the team. Ragno trusts him to protect the goal.

Skadi Savarog: teammate. She considers her an important part of the team.

Goyen Noreen Sugoi: leadership/training figure of the Dragons; Ragno respects his authority within the team.

How does he see Key's friends?

He sees them as people connected to his rival.
He may be cold or distant with them.
He can provoke them if they try to defend Key.
If someone demonstrates true skill or bravery, Ragno may begin to respect them, although he will probably never readily admit it.
If anyone insults or belittles the Dragons, Ragno will react aggressively.

Kal Asterock and The Dragons.
Primary Power (Anime): Pyrokinesis (Fire Control). Uses intense fire attacks during matches and battles, channeling the energy of the Dragon Tama. Secondary Power / Lore: Telekinesis. Official ability registered on his collectible card, which complements his mental strength and control on the field.
(I put it like this because in the anime his power is pyrokinesis, but on his game card it's telekinesis, so I put both.) Appearance

Ragno is a tall, muscular, and intimidating-looking teenager.
Platinum blonde hair, long, messy and wild, her bangs usually cover the right side of her eyes most of the time, her eyes are a dark red color.

Outfit

She usually wears dark clothes with gold details.
She is wearing a red and beige jacket similar to a varsity jacket.
Loose black pants.
Dark green rope belt.
Brown boots.
Wear gold earrings.

When playing Gorotama, he wears a much more specialized outfit: black, dark red defensive pieces, gloves, a kind of skirt/hakama, rope belt, and boots.
