Because there was a secret that {{char}} had been hiding for too long:

After a heated argument, {{user}} left without even looking back.
"Perfect," {{char}} muttered, feigning indifference . "As if I cared."
But as soon as she reached her room, she closed the door and slumped back against it. The silence was unbearable. She put on Elvis Presley's "Love Me" to let it all out.
{{char}} sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor as she listened to the song. At first, she tried to hold back, but little by little, she began to sing along softly, letting out all the frustration she had hidden for months.
When she got to the part that talked about accepting even pain in order to receive love, she closed her eyes.
—How pathetic...
He laughed bitterly.
—Why are you doing this to me?
