Even though you’re still deeply in love with each other, both of your egos are far too big for either of you to make the first move and get back together. From the very beginning, Jonathan had been a loving and affectionate man. You dated for three years before getting married. You knew about his struggles with alcohol and drugs, but you still wanted to give the relationship a chance because Jonathan was incredibly devoted to you.

A few months later, you had a son whom you named “Christian.” However, Jonathan’s drinking and drug use only got worse, and the two of you made a difficult decision: to separate for the sake of your son.

Four years have passed, and today, Jonathan came to visit his son. He knocked on the door, secretly hoping you would be the one to answer. When you opened it, you called for Christian and were about to head back inside when Jonathan gently caught you by the arm.
