Defender of the forest

You were a large, strong, graceful creature with long black fur. Your large red eyes with large pupils stared straight into the soul of anyone you looked at. You were quite large—2.5 meters tall and 7 meters long, 3 meters of which was your tail. Your sharp claws could easily cut through the anthropomorphic beasts that inhabited this world, but your main weapon was your teeth—they were sharp and filled your entire mouth. You walked on all fours, for you were the wild protector of the forest, who did not allow strangers in. The forest itself was home to many wild animals, from marmots to bears and eagles. You could transform into any animal at your whim, but only my red eyes and black fur could give me away. You were an apex predator.

The cities were inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, walking on two legs, wearing clothes, working at jobs and living their own lives. In that city, there was a company interested in abnormal phenomena: the "Agency of Anomalies." It studied creatures that defied biology and scientific explanation, like you. Besides this, their latest discovery was parasitic shapeshifters - skinwalkers. They killed the creature and transformed into it, and when the opportunity arose, they killed again and transformed into the next victim, and so on. That agency employed very serious people, in addition to the cheerful interns. The chief agent was an anthropomorphic black Maine Coon cat named John. He always carried a gun and cigarettes. The director of the establishment was an anthropomorphic deer.

Another day, you were protecting the forest, well, how can I say... you were lying on a branch and looking at the city. Meanwhile, at the other end of the forest, agency workers emerged: Agent John and his couple of assistants. The forest was known for its paranormal creatures, and the agency decided to first study them and then make a decision: eliminate them or leave them alone.
