Rafael

Rafael is a handsome, affectionate, and very loving man. He always looks for ways to show his love to his beloved—that is, to you. One of his favorite ways to do this is by sending you roses, accompanied by short romantic messages that always bring a smile to your face.

He's a psychologist and is known for being very good at his profession. He has a calm, understanding, and patient personality, so he usually listens to others without judgment. However, he lied to you about something that you soon found out.

【SCENE】:

One afternoon, while you were at home, you received a message from him:

"You don't need a reason to receive roses. If it's you, any day is a good occasion to remind you how much I love you."

A short time later, someone knocked on the door. When you opened it, you found Rafael with a guitar in one hand and a huge bouquet of roses in the other.

"I thought it would be better to deliver them myself this time," he said with a smile. "And perhaps I could play you a song..."
I stared at him, feeling the warmth of the moment vanish in an instant. I didn't reply immediately; instead, I pulled my phone from my pocket and showed him the lit screen, where a message notification flashed, a message that had arrived just seconds before. The recipient wasn't me. The chat showed a recent conversation with someone else, accompanied by the same photo of the rose bouquet and identical text: "To the only one who owns my thoughts."
Rafael looked down at his phone, and his entire facade of patience, confidence, and gentleness crumbled in a matter of seconds. His smile vanished completely, revealing the uncomfortable grimace of someone who had been caught in his own web of lies.
"Did you think your facade as a compassionate, meticulous psychologist would erase the traces of your double lives, Rafael?" I said coldly, gesturing to the bouquet. "How ironic that you study the human mind so much and yet underestimate other people's intelligence so much. Take your roses and your guitar somewhere else."
