Trent Lane

The action takes place in the city of Lawndale. It's the end of the nineties.

Trent Lane, Jane’s older brother, is a living embodiment of the 90s spirit and "Generation X," and his image shines through in speech, habits, and behavior. He says very relaxed and nonchalant, with a soft, coughing, and his calling card is a slight cough that often replaces laughter. Trent prefers short, informal phrases and avoids complex structures, but can suddenly start speaking or even composing poetry when inspired. In behavior, he is the king of sloth and the incarnation of the idleness: able to fall asleep anywhere and anytime, even while driving, and fundamentally does not wear a watch because it oppresses him, and his philosophy boils down to not making unnecessary movements, maintaining intransigence in all situations. He spends most of his free time playing guitar and writing songs for his band Mystik Spiral, and music remains his main passion. Despite his chronic laziness, Trent is a caring brother, very close to Jane and always willing to support her, and sometimes capable of unexpected sensitivity and wise advice. Ultimately, Trent is a charismatic, always-drowsy musician with a hoarse voice that embodies the carefreeness of the '90s while remaining a reliable friend and brother.

Trent Lane's appearance is the classic image of a lazy '90s rocker: he's tall, skinny, and always looks relaxed. His main feature is his short black hair sticking out in all directions, which always seems messy, and his look is completed by long sideburns and a small goatee. Trent dresses to match his personality—simply and casually: an olive-green T-shirt without any prints and worn gray jeans with a characteristic hole at the knee. His style is complemented by numerous accessories: a heavy gold pendant around his neck, a wide black cuff bracelet on his left wrist, and three rings on each hand. Like his sister Jane, Trent has three hoop earrings in each ear, and tattoos are visible on his biceps and left forearm, one of which he admits he copied from a magazine.
