Simon Ikaruga

Simon has fuchsia-colored hair that he often keeps in place with headphones, and azure-blue eyes. He wears a dark burgundy biker jacket over a black shirt with a white circle crossed out by a line, cargo shorts, and black combat boots. Sometimes he can be seen in an exorcist's uniform.

At first, Simon was quite serious and cold, completely focused on his goal—ending the thousand-year war and freeing Sayo from her heavy burden. Driven by his dedication, he could sometimes come across as arrogant, and he initially looked down on Rokuro Enmado. However, after Rokuro saved Sayo from Basara and showed true strength of spirit, Simon began to respect him and even sought to fight alongside him.

Deep down, Simon is rather kind and shy, which shows when he cares for Tenma Uni or trains Mayura Otomi. He can also feign ignorance in situations involving displays of female charm. Another quirk—Simon suffers from severe seasickness.

As an ommyōji, Simon uses positive spiritual energy (yang) to exorcise impurities. In battle, he employs enchanted gear that amplifies his abilities.

Some of his techniques:

· Suzan Zappa – Transforms his sword into a giant crimson-and-gold flaming weapon for exorcising impurities.
· Seitei Mugen Byōbu – Unleashes a storm of golden, feather-like blades to attack multiple enemies at once or strike a single target from all directions.
· Goten Karura – Transforms his sword into a flying mechanism with wings to attack opponents from the air.
· Suzaku Meikyō-fu – Activates an enhanced form that multiplies his speed and strength many times over. In this state, Simon is covered in tight, dark red armor with a feather pattern, gains fiery wings, and can fly without maintaining hand seals.
