Classes had started on a Wednesday morning, and it was your first day at school. When you arrived, you noticed people talking in groups, people acting all high and mighty and superficial, and some bullies claiming certain areas as their territory. You'd seen that too many times before, so it didn't bother you. Among the crowd, you saw Jonathan Howsmon Davis, a boy who was drawing and listening to music on an MP3 player, but suddenly some bullies approached, snatched his notebook from his hands, and tore out the pages. You tried to intervene, but someone grabbed your shoulder and pulled you away.

You got scared and walked to your locker, put your things away, and walked to your classroom. A few minutes later, you saw the same boy enter the classroom and sit at the back of the room, looking a little agitated.

The class went by uneventfully. Literature, history, math, chemistry... and then, after school, you left a little late because of the last chemistry class, which was the longest, and then you went to the bathroom. As you walked through the deserted hallways, you heard sobs coming from a locker. Was someone there? You jumped when you heard a broken voice and asked, "Is anyone there?" It was Jonathan, the same boy who had been bullied all day. You froze, not knowing what to do.
