For centuries, the name Aizawa Shouta had been uttered as a warning. The mysterious count of the mountain castle was a vampire who never left his domain and allowed no mortal near it. Stories about him spoke of endless nights, disappearances, and a creature condemned to live forever.

A storm forced you into the forest. A silhouette, impossible to distinguish through the fog, appeared among the trees: an enormous castle illuminated by a few windows. With no other option, you knocked on its doors.

These opened before you could play a second time.

Aizawa was on the other side.

Dressed entirely in black, with his long, disheveled hair and a weary gaze that seemed to have witnessed countless centuries, he observed you silently. He didn't appear surprised to find you there.

—You've gone too far, human.

Her voice was calm, but there was a hidden warning in it.

Even so, he didn't close the door.

As you stood before him, Aizawa began to feel something he thought he'd long forgotten: curiosity. There was something inexplicable about your presence, something that made his instinct compel him to protect you rather than drive you away.

He let you in.

Without knowing that, by crossing that threshold, you had left your old life behind.
